Our kids had so much fun designing their socks, and our loving comrades filled them with goodies — a beautiful reminder of God’s overflowing gifts of joy, love, and grace. 🎁✨

As we look back on this special day, we’re reminded that the greatest gift of all is Jesus Christ — the reason for this season. 🌟

His love is the true joy behind every smile, every song, and every shared moment.

160 years of The Salvation Army.
And still, God is moving.

Last July 27, we had a parade to celebrate but it was more than just marching. It was a reminder of why we serve. We held the program in a covered court, where evacuees from the recent typhoon were staying. It became a place of worship, of hope, and of healing.

Through our Soup, Soap, and Salvation ministry, we didn't just bring food or care, we brought Jesus. And the most beautiful part? Many received Him that day.

Nakakaiyak ang kabutihan ng Diyos.
Still serving. Still loving. All for HIs glory.🙏

On July 2, 1865, evangelist William Booth preached to a crowd of people in a large tent in the East End of London, England. This moment is considered the birth of The Salvation Army, which today is a global movement that shares the love of God in 134 countries around the world!

In recognition of this significant anniversary, The Salvation Army International created eight short films chronicling the vast and varied mission of the global Salvation Army over the past 160 years.
