🙏 LET'S PRAY FOR OUR YOUTH, ESPECIALLY DURING THESE TROUBLED TIMES 🙏

Heavenly Father,

We turn to You with heavy hearts following the recent violent incident in Zamboanga — and other incidents in other parts of the country.

We beg You, Lord, to look with mercy upon our youth, who are facing such troubled and frightening times. They are Your children, and they need You now more than ever.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to shelter them from harm and heal the deep wounds of fear and trauma in their hearts. Show them Your love and mercy through the people around them.

Comfort the grieving families and bring Your divine peace to our communities.

Guide all parents, educators, school officials, government leaders, and everyone else who has a role in the development of our youth.

Touch the hearts of all our young people who are confused, angry, disillusioned, influenced by bad elements... and let Your love guide them instead.

Send Your Holy Spirit to make our schools, homes, and communities safe spaces of grace, learning, and true Christian love.

We pray for all our youth, especially those who feel lost and broken. For those who are struggling mentally and emotionally. Bring them hope and healing through their families and other people whom they encounter regularly.

Lord, we are grieving and heartbroken. We need You now more than ever.

Please help all of us to truly follow You and allow You to be at the center of our lives. Especially our youth.

Mama Mary, pray for us. Saint Joseph, pray for us.

And there are still many corrupt leaders who do not care for Your people. 😢

Dearest Mother, assumed into Heaven, you are the Immaculate Conception, the Ever-Virgin Mary, the Mother of God.

As we honor your glorious Assumption into Heaven, please pray for me and for all your children. In Heaven, you are honored by your Son and your prayers are most effective.

I believe this with all my heart and entrust myself, my family, our Church, and the entire world to your motherly care and intercession.

🙏LET US PRAY🙏

Oratio Imperata - Prayer in Times of Calamities

Almighty Father, we raise our hearts to You in gratitude for the wonders of creation of which we are part, for Your providence that sustains us in our needs, and for Your wisdom that guides the course of the universe.

We acknowledge our sins against You and the rest of creation. We have not been good stewards of nature. We have confused Your command to subdue the earth.

The environment is made to suffer our wrongdoings and now we reap the harvest of our abuse & indifference. Global warming is upon us. Typhoons, floods, volcanic eruptions, and other calamities occur in increasing number & intensity.

We turn to You, our loving Father, and beg forgiveness for our sins. We ask that we, our loved ones, and our hard-earned possessions be spared from the threat of calamities, natural and man-made.

We beseech You to inspire us all to grow into responsible stewards of Your creation and generous neighbors to those in need.

We also pray for an end to corruption, so that the resources that are supposed to be allocated for flood control and other life-saving projects will truly be put to good use.

Lord Jesus, King of the Universe and Ultimate Waymaker, have mercy on us.
