What a wonderful evening as Pasig 2nd and Pasig 3rd Wards gathered together for our Combined Movie Night!

As we watched Coco, we were reminded of the importance of remembering and honoring our families, including those who have gone before us. The movie beautifully illustrated that family connections do not end with time or distance. The memories, love, and relationships we cherish continue to bless our lives and strengthen our hearts.

Just as we learn through temple and family history work, our ancestors are more than names; they are part of our story. As long as they are remembered, their influence continues to live on in our families.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening special.

Pasig 3rd Ward had accepted the challenge!

Many of our ward members participated in the Family History Challenge given by the stake, and several were able to complete at least 8 items on the checklist. What a wonderful effort to learn more about our ancestors and strengthen family connections.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Elder and Sister Padilla for taking the time to share inspiring messages about temple and family history work. Their message reminded us of the eternal importance of connecting generations through the gospel.

Temple and family history work is more than just finding names and adding them to a family tree. It is discovering memories, stories, and connections that help us understand who we are and where we come from.

Thank you to everyone who participated and accepted the challenge. May we continue to strengthen our families by remembering and honoring those who came before us. โค

I testify that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. I testify and have witnessed the love that They have for me in my life, and I know that They hear and answer our prayers. I testify that the Father and the Son came to the Prophet Joseph Smith to restore the fulness of the gospel. I testify that President Dallin H. Oaks is our living prophet. I am grateful for the gospel, for Jesus Christ, and for His Atonement. I know that these things are true, and I leave you with my testimony in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

I testify that family history is one of the greatest gifts that God has given us. Ancestry is a very important thing to help us understand more of our own origin. And not only does this benefit us, but also our family members that has passed on. I testify that these tools that God has provided us, makes our ordinances in the temple more accessible. And i know that with family history, we will be together with our families again.

My ancestors hold a very special place in my heart because, despite the trials and hardships they endured in the past, they paved the way for my existence today. Performing temple ordinances for them gives me a profound sense of connection and familial love that transcends the boundaries of death, knowing they have been given the opportunity to receive the blessings of the gospel.

Researching and compiling family history for them is more than just a simple search for names and dates in records; it is a sacred act of uniting our hearts as an eternal family. It has given me a deeper understanding of who I am and inspired me to emulate their resilience, making it deeply important to me to carry on their story and legacy.

Sobrang mahalaga at espesyal talaga sa akin ang lola ko. Siya po kasi yung kasama ko since I was 4 years old. Since abroad po kasi ang mama ko, naiwan ako sa lola ko together with my mga tita at tito. Kaya sobrang close po talaga kami ni Lola and she became a very important part of my life. Nakakalungkot lang isipin na mag-iisang taon na siyang wala dito sa tabi ko pero nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng magaganda at masasayang memories na iniwan niya sa family namin. Having her baptized in the temple is so meaningful for me. Masaya ako na tinanggap at kinuha ko itong opportunity na ito para sa kanya. It is also my way of showing my care, love, and respect for her I really love her so much, and I will always be grateful that I had her as my Lola.

Doing Family History for my Lola means so much to me kasi it makes me feel so connected to her talaga. Through this experience I learned more about our family and appreciated all the memories and stories that we have and this is not just an activity for me, but something I am doing out of love for my Lola. Sobrang masaya po talaga ako na I was able to do something meaningful for her, and I feel grateful that I had the opportunity to honor her in this special way.

Sometimes, the most important things we do each day are never even on our to-do list. President Gordon B. Hinckley taught, "You never know how much good you do."

Today, we are grateful for opportunities to reconnect with those we love, care about, and may have missed. Ministering is more than just visiting; it is being present for others physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

A simple "Kamusta ka?", a phone call, a message, a small act of service, or simply taking time to listen can make a meaningful difference in someone's day.

As families, let us follow the Savior's example by reaching out with love, kindness, and compassion. โค

Every act of love matters. Every family can minister.

What a wonderful Ward Home Evening!

Our hearts are full as we watched many families invite friends, neighbors, and loved ones to join us. It was a joy to see smiles, laughter, and new friendships being formed throughout the evening.

Thank you to everyone who attended, guests, shared food, and helped make this activity a success. Moments like these remind us of the blessings that come when families and friends gather together in faith and unity.

As we continue our Family Week Celebration 2026, we are grateful for the love, unity, and happiness everyone felt.
