To have implemented an action steps to extend one area of expansion in an urban church with our major objectives as follows:
1. Mission goals and objectives for a particular community.
2. Identification of the common contextual factors.
3. An understanding of what an indigenous urban poor church of discipling movement is a biblical understanding and practical strategies for each season of growth.
4. Viable community development and advocacy ideas that meet social, economic and justice needs.
5. Church governance for each season of growth.
6. Core values and personal spiritually needed to sustain their involvement in such processes. PHILIPPINE CENTER FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT INT'L, INC. is a Non-Governmental Organization and group of founding Church Leaders & Volunteers envisioned strategically with method and processes to elevate & advocate the community growth & development of each citizen for the entire locality of the Nation and in the World. In general, the objectives of the Community Development Projects strategy and method at the grassroots level are as follows:
1. To raise awareness of individual, parents and children in the community to the major issues including the rights of children and to feel that they can do something to influence the conditions under which they are lives;
2. To simulate indigenous leadership to help individual articulate their needs and organize people's organization to meet these needs;
3. To develop capabilities of parents and children to understand & act on how they can use their internal and external community resources to meet individual, family and community needs, and act on issues that affect their lives. FAMILY CASE MANAGEMENT is another component of Community Development Project – although economic poverty is the basic cause for going out to the streets, dysfunctional family relations play a major role in pushing children to survive in the streets, drop-out of school or involve themselves to deviant activities. Children whose families either have (a) one or more parents suffer from dependency problems like drugs or alcohol, (b) chronic domestic violence & (c) child abuse are subjected to Family Case Management. This is an approach and process in which our staff and Community Coordinators' looks into the moral values and bio-psycho-social needs per family.
