Ngayong buwan ng Mayo, dalawang magkasabay na pambihirang okasyon ang ating ipinagdiriwang ng Pasig Diocesan Catechetical Ministry, nang may masayang puso: ang Flores de Mayo at ang Mother’s Day.
Kaya naman, napakagandang pagkakataon na sa buwan ding ito ay ipinagdiriwang natin ang Mother’s Day. Kung ang Flores de Mayo ay alay sa ating Ina sa Langit, ang araw na ito ay alay naman sa ating mga "ilaw ng tahanan" dito sa lupa.
