JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE
John 14:1-6
Have you ever experienced being lost? In life, there are times that we are looking to which direction to go. And hereβs the truth: Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life.
I. Jesus is the Way
- In John 14:6, Jesus declares Himself as the exclusive path to God, emphasizing His role as the mediator between humanity and the Father.
- Because of sin, the connection between God and man was broken and Jesus is the only One who could fill the gap.
- Jesus made the way for us freely to come to the Father through His blood that can cover multitude of sins.
- Jesus is not merely a guide but the actual path to God. Believers are called to follow Him in obedience and faith.
II. Jesus is the Truth
- Because God so loved the world, He gave His only Son for the world to be saved from eternal death. Jesus came to redeem and save mankind β and this is the truth!
- God did not send his Son to condemn us, but to save us. And what we just have to do is to believe in Him.
III. Jesus is the Life
- Whatever is dead in our life, may it be hope, joy or relationship, Jesus can bring life to it because He is indeed life!
- Jesus is offering not merely a physical life but spiritual, where we can experience true abundance. (John 10:10)
Jesus is the only way to the Father.

βThe Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.β
