HISTORY OF BAMBANG CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Elpidio Manansala (Tatay Pidiong) was saved in 1974, early December, through a gospel tract Ang Paraan ng Kaligtasan Ayon sa Dios from Back to the Bible by Theodore Epp. He went back to his hometown in Malauli in 1975 and shared the gospel to Ben Manansala, Dang Felia Usi, Tatang Andy Usi, Tatang Doding Ducut, and Tatang Ferning Manansala. Dave Harvey (Cainta Christian Church) and Rudy Ponce de Leon (San Juan Gospel Church) baptised Elpidio Manansala together with his wife Marietta, Apong Sanu Usi, Ofelia Usi, Andy Usi, Ferning Manansala, Gloria Manansala, Ben Manansala, Linda Manansala, Doding Ducut, Jesus Lopez, and Erning Manansala, at the river of Malauli, in front of Tatang Doding’s and Tatang Enyo’s house. Malauli Church was born in 1975 (September) in Elpidio/Sop Manansala’s house. BAMBANG CHRISTIAN CHURCH was born in 1977 in Tatang Ano/Baby Manansala’s house in Kalawaan, Pasig. After a few weeks, the church moved to Manansala apartment. In 1978, it moved again to an improvised chapel in Manansala lot, its current location. First attendees were Elpidio Manansala and family, Sol Santos, Cely Sunga, Rading Gomez and family, Ano/Baby Manansala and family, Rosie Usi, Maning Santos, Romy Yamat, Peter Gomez, Maura Ocampo, and Elvie Ocampo. New attendees were added over the years including Rino and Luming Quiambao, Erly Pestaño and family, Eder Manansala, Lolit Maog and family, Lito Lanuza, Nanay Tibay Padilla and family, Joe Marzan and family, Fred Friaz and family, Bert and Tita Mamaril and family, Teddy Manansala and family, Josie Ulit and family, Bert Bucayan and family, Eduard Santos and family, Ed Perez and family, Godofredo and Choi Javier and family, Yolly Manansala and family, Armas family, Acosta family, Nenet Alix and family, and many more. The siblings of Tata Pids also got saved and became missionaries and preachers, including Ben and Sop. From his clan came out more preachers including Manny (CCF), Gene (Apalit), Aris (Bambang), Henry (Toronto), Pem (Apalit), and Caleb (Apalit)
God have used different people in BAMBANG CHRISTIAN CHURCH as leaders, workers, and teachers including Rey Garcia, Boyet Fernando, Lito Lanuza, Rino Quiambao, Joe Marzan, Fred Frias, Rads Gomez, Peter Gomez, Eduard Santos, Topei Bucayan, Francis Padilla, Luming Quiambao, Aris/Diane Pestaño, Ress Magsipoc, Paul Acode, and many more.
