The rain may have poured heavily outside, but the fire of the Holy Spirit burned even brighter inside the beautiful Minor Basilica of St. Anne-Taguig. No amount of downpour could stop the CFC Central B family from gathering as one Sector Assembly to worship, learn, and grow in faith.Thank you, Lord, for the gift of community that weathers any storm!

An on-fire Praisefest led by Bro. Gil ignited our hearts, reminding us to keep the fire burning within us. Through this worship, we were reminded that Jesus is faithful, He invites, restores, and expands His table to everyone.

May this Theme Weekend Retreat empower each and every one of us to walk in humility, share our gifts and graces, and be led by the Holy Spirit.

The Lord’s joy offered to us is complete. Joy becomes complete when it is rooted in Christ and lived according to His purpose.

In our fourth session, Bro. James helped us connect all the sessions from yesterday until today. He enlightened us that the joy offered at the table of Christ is an invitation to fellowship with Him, one that we share with one another in our homes and extend to others. This joy does not stop within our households or communities, but continues to flow outward to more people and families. He reminded us that joy is God’s gift, one that allows us to keep serving with gladness despite any circumstances, and to share it with all.

Through the life-sharing of Bro. Jun and Sis. Beng Mena, we witnessed God’s transforming love in their relationship as members of CFC. Their faithfulness and joy in mission strengthened their relationship with God. Despite encountering different cultures, values, and professions along their journey, they remained steadfast, joyfully embracing the mission God called them to, never turning away from His purpose.

An empowering opening worship led by Bro. Jojo reminded us that no matter the struggles we faced before arriving, our calling remains, and God continues to call us for His purpose.

The Gospel challenges us: if Christ is at the table, who is with you? Who are you inviting to be at that table?

Fr. Rodel S. Mellarpis of the Society of the Divine Word, celebrated the Holy Eucharist with us this afternoon. He shared the Good News from his own journey, how he moved from a table of hope to a table of love. He witnessed how the community became God’s answer to his hunger for Christ, filling him and inspiring him to pursue a religious life.

Today, we are invited to come to the Eucharist, to receive Him, and to share Him with others, to be salt and light in the world. We are encouraged to never stop inviting and to allow those who are searching for Christ to find Him at our table, the table of the CFC community.
