There is a quiet logic in how God chooses to work. He does not reach first for the talented, the powerful, or the self-sufficient โ He reaches for the weak, the simple, the humble and meek, the ones who could never claim the credit for what follows. The apostles were fishermen, tax collectors, ordinary men with no standing to change the world โ and yet they did, because it was never their strength doing the work.
This is not God settling for less. The weakness of the instrument becomes the proof that the hand at work is God's own.
Faustina understood this in her own life โ an unschooled young nun with no influence, chosen to carry a message to the whole world. If she had been brilliant or powerful, the mission might have looked like her own doing. Instead, her smallness became the very evidence that it was all grace.
This entry is an invitation to stop measuring ourselves by capability, and to offer God our weakness and misery instead โ because it may be exactly what He is looking for.

Lord,
Thank You for the gifts that's freely given
You do not need my strength โ only my surrender.
It's never been about deserving or earning.
It's never been about performance,
Perfection or striving for acceptance.
Your grace is more than enough.
Take what is weak and small in me,
and let it become the space
where Your power is revealed.
Use me, not because I am capable,
but because You are.
Amen.
