On November 4, 2024, Sister Teodora B. Jalea, OSS, and Sister Emilisa Pagal celebrated their Diamond ๐Ÿ’Ž and Silver ๐Ÿช™ Jubilees, respectivelyโ€”a day created by the Lord, one to rejoice in and cherish. It was a moment to honor and reflect upon their faith-filled journeys within the OSS community, lives steadfastly guided by the divine grace of God, the Almighty Father. ๐ŸŒŸ

Additionally, the OSS Philippine Province Memorial Hall was inaugurated that same day. The hall features a collection of photos capturing the journey of the OSS community, beautifully displayed throughout the space. ๐Ÿ“ธโœจ This exhibit serves as a meaningful reminder of how far this blessed community has come, reflecting its history, growth, and dedication to faith over the years. ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒน

People recommend all sorts of devotions, but they are silent about that one devotion which, according to the Holy Spirit of the Church, should be first and foremost. People recite so many novenas; but that one novena, which by order of Our Savior in person, was recited even by the most Holy Mary and by all the apostles, is now almost forgotten. Preachers praise all the Saints, but when do we ever hear a sermon in honor of the Holy Spirit. โ€” St. Elena Guerra

Last October 20, 2024, the canonization of our Mother Foundress, Elena Guerra, took place in Italy. ๐Ÿคโœจ As a way of celebrating the newly-announced Saint, who is a beacon of faith, love, and devotion to the Holy Spirit ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ, we, the whole Blessed Elena Academy community, gathered on October 21 at Our Lady of Sorrows for a thanksgiving mass. This was followed by the living invocation to the Holy Spirit, where the Divine Paraclete was invoked through the prayer of our high school students, teachers and BEAPTAC members. Every grade level, the Sisters Oblates of the Holy Spirit, and teachers shared their hearts through songs and dance presentations. We ended with a joyful salo-salo, united as one community. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ™

May her divine legacy guide us, inspiring the whole BEA community to live faithfully and in harmony. May we also draw inspiration from her devotion to the Holy Spirit, becoming apostles of the Divine Paraclete in our own lives. We pray that, like a sunflower turning towards the sun, we may live our lives aligned with the will of our Heavenly Father.๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŒป
