𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐓. 𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐀

Today we commemorate the Feast St. Catherine, Virgin and Martyr. A princess who renounced the pagan lifestyle and consecrated herself as the wife of Christ.

She is also the patroness of Philosophers, Teachers, Students, and the YSLEP Scholars of SCDMP. She remained a Virgin and stood firm in faith.

May the story of her life be a reminder and a challenge to each of us to follow the example of St. Catherine in faith and determination, intelligence and love for God.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿: Saint Catherine, you devoted yourself to your God after learning of Him through the teaching of a holy monk. Once you wedded yourself to your Lord, you never wavered in your love for Him. Please pray for me, that I will also hear God’s Word, spoken in the depths of my soul, and will respond to His voice with all my heart. Saint Catherine of Alexandria, pray for me. Jesus, I trust in You.

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐬 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐎𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞

Graduated YSLEP scholars from the different Vicariates and Parishes of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM) came together to celebrate their academic milestones. We were blessed to have four YSLEP Scholars and three SSDM Volunteers from SCDMP join the event.

The ceremony not only recognized the scholars for completing their college degrees but also honored those who received academic awards from their universities. We are incredibly proud of our parish's two Cum Laude graduates! A key moment of the event was the oath-taking, where each scholar was inducted into CAMASA, officially transitioning them from students to alumni of the Education Program.

Congratulations to all the graduates! May God bless you on your journey ahead.
