𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 is a major holiday that commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ, an event traditionally considered the "birthday of the Church." As detailed in Acts 2 in the New Testament, the disciples were gathered in Jerusalem when a sound like a "mighty rushing wind" filled the house. Tongues of fire appeared and rested on each person, filling them with the Holy Spirit. This divine intervention allowed them to spontaneously speak in different languages, enabling a diverse crowd of international pilgrims to understand their preaching. Following this miracle, the Apostle Peter gave a powerful sermon, resulting in the baptism of about 3,000 new believers that single day.
