임마누엘교회를 위한 함께 드리는 기도1
사랑과 은혜가 풍성하신 하나님 아버지, 교회의 주인이시며 역사의 주관자 되시는 주님 앞에 임마누엘교회를 올려드립니다.
주님, 이 교회가 걸어온 시간을 주님은 알고 계십니다.
눈물로 씨를 뿌리며 세워진 예배의 자리, 성도들의 헌신과 기도로 채워졌던 그 거룩한 공간이 지금 정부기관인 PNCC의 통제로 인해 출입이 막히고 닫혀 있는 현실을 바라봅니다.
사람의 눈으로 보면 막힌 길이고, 사람의 생각으로 보면 무너진 것처럼 보입니다.
여기에 더하여 담임목사의 무책임한 사임이라는 상처까지 더해져 교회는 이중의 고통 속에 서 있습니다.
그러나 주님, 교회의 머리는 사람이 아니라 예수 그리스도이심을 믿습니다.
건물은 막을 수 있어도 예배는 막을 수 없고, 사람은 떠날 수 있어도 하나님은 교회를 떠나지 않으심을 붙듭니다.
지금 임시 예배 처소에서 다시 모여 예배하는 성도들을 기억하여 주옵소서.
흩어지지 않고, 무너지지 않고, 오히려 더 간절함으로 주님을 찾는 그 믿음을 귀히 보아 주옵소서.
주님, 이들의 심령에 낙심이 아니라 거룩한 갈망을 더하여 주옵소서.
“부흥을 다시 보게 하소서”라는 부르짖음이 형식적인 구호가 아니라 심령 깊은 곳에서 터져 나오는 기도가 되게 하옵소서.
임시로 세워진 김종훈 담임목사 위에도 기름 부어 주옵소서.
사람의 지혜가 아니라 성령의 지혜로 교회를 이끌게 하시고, 상처 입은 공동체를 품고 회복시키는 목자의 마음을 부어 주옵소서. 흩어진 마음들을 다시 하나로 묶어 주시고, 말씀과 기도로 교회의 중심을 다시 세워 주옵소서.
주님, 성도 한 사람 한 사람을 붙들어 주옵소서.
시험 앞에서 떠나는 자가 아니라, 이 시간을 통해 더 정결해지고 더 깊어지는 믿음의 사람들로 세워 주옵소서. 고난 속에서도 예배를 지키는 이들이야말로 주님께서 찾으시는 참된 예배자임을 확신하게 하옵소서.
막힌 문 앞에서 절망하지 않게 하시고, 오히려 하나님께서 여실 새로운 문을 바라보게 하옵소서.사람이 닫은 문보다 크신 하나님의 계획을 보게 하시고, 이 모든 과정을 통해 교회가 더 순결해지고 더 강해지게 하옵소서.
주님, 공의로 다스려 주옵소서.
불의한 일들이 드러나게 하시고, 하나님의 방법으로 해결되게 하시며, 교회가 다시 그 자리에 서게 되는 날이 오게 하옵소서.
그러나 그날을 기다리는 동안에도 예배는 멈추지 않게 하시고, 기도는 식어지지 않게 하시며, 복음의 능력은 더 강하게 나타나게 하옵소서.
이 교회가 단순히 회복되는 것을 넘어 이 시대에 부흥의 불씨가 되게 하시고, 고난을 통과한 교회로서 더 큰 영적 영향력을 흘려보내게 하옵소서.
마침내 고백하게 하옵소서.
“여호와께서 여기까지 우리를 도우셨다.”
살아계신 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
A Prayer We Offer Together for Immanuel Church 1
Gracious and loving Father,
the Owner of the Church and the Sovereign over all history,
we lift up Immanuel Church before You.
Lord, You know the journey this church has walked.
The place of worship that was built with tears and sown in faith,
the holy space once filled with the devotion and prayers of Your people,
now stands closed and restricted due to the control of PNCC.
From a human perspective, the way seems blocked,
and by human reasoning, it may appear as though everything has collapsed.
On top of this, the wound of the former senior pastor’s irresponsible resignation
has placed the church under a double burden of suffering.
Yet, Lord, we believe that the Head of the Church is not man, but Jesus Christ.
Buildings may be shut down, but worship cannot be stopped.
People may leave, but You never abandon Your Church.
Remember the believers who have gathered again in a temporary place of worship.
They have not scattered, nor have they fallen apart;
instead, they seek You with even greater desperation.
Please honor and receive their faith.
Lord, replace discouragement in their hearts with holy longing.
Let the cry, “Lord, let us see revival again,”
not be a mere slogan, but a deep and genuine prayer rising from their spirits.
Anoint the interim senior pastor, Rev. Jonghoon Kim, whom You have raised for this time.
Lead him not by human wisdom, but by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
Grant him the heart of a shepherd who embraces and restores a wounded community.
Gather scattered hearts into one again,
and reestablish the center of the church through Your Word and prayer.
Lord, sustain each and every member.
Do not let them fall away in times of testing,
but refine them through this season to become people of deeper and purer faith.
Let them be assured that those who keep worship even in suffering
are the true worshipers You seek.
Keep them from despairing before closed doors;
instead, help them to look toward the new doors that You will open.
Let them see that Your plans are greater than any door man can shut,
and through this entire process, make the church purer and stronger.
Lord, rule with justice.
Expose what is unjust,
bring resolution according to Your ways,
and allow the day to come when the church stands again in its rightful place.
Yet, while waiting for that day,
let worship never cease,
let prayer never grow cold,
and let the power of the gospel be revealed even more strongly.
May this church not only be restored,
but become a spark of revival in this generation.
As a church that has passed through suffering,
let it carry even greater spiritual influence.
And in the end, let there be this confession:
“Thus far the Lord has helped us.”
We pray all these things in the name of the living Jesus Christ. Amen.
