The only response that saves is to repent and place our faith in the finished work of Jesus. When we do this, He will save us and transform us into the kind of people who hear and obey.

We must build our lives on him. And Jesus is saying that to build our lives on him is to build our lives on the ROCK. Because Jesus Christ, God's Son, is the Rock.

📍Matthew 7:24-27 NLT

[24] “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. [25] Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. [26] But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. [27] When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash"

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: The cornerstone of Christian faith, marking the transition from mourning to the joy of the Resurrection. It signifies that Jesus conquered death, proving He is alive and providing eternal hope, meaning Christians should not look for spiritual life in dead things, but in the living Christ.

Luke 24:5-6 "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!"

Jesus defeated death and HE IS ALIVE. Let us celebrate for HE IS RISEN!

To God be the Glory!

𝙇𝙪𝙠𝙚 23:46, "𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧, 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙄 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩," is a focal point of Christian Lenten reflection, embodying the ultimate surrender, trust, and loving obedience of Jesus to the Father before his death. It highlights Christ’s deliberate sacrifice, encouraging believers to surrender their lives and trust God.

These are His last moments with his disciples before He dies. He’s praying in the garden and Peter and the other disciples are falling asleep. Jesus says to Peter, “Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.” What a picture specifically, obviously in this moment, but a picture in our lives of the need to be spiritually alert and spiritually prepared for otherwise we fall into temptation.

Matthew 26:40–41: “And Jesus came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, ‘So, could you not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.'”

The way Jesus talks about loving each other is a precursor of the spread of Christianity. As he loved and that love spread within his inner circle, so too will love spread after he is gone when love is done in his name.

John 13:34—"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another"

Filled with gratitude after last Sunday’s service. 🤍

It was a powerful reminder that the talents, gifts, and resources we hold aren’t just for our own benefit—they are seeds planted by God to be grown for His Kingdom. When we offer back what He first gave us, we turn our daily work into an act of worship.n./
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." — 1 Peter 4:10

So thankful for a community that encourages us to live out our calling! ⛪️✨
