This Sunday, we continue our journey through the seven churches in Revelation as we look into the suffering church in Smyrna with the message:

“Do Not Fear, Be Faithful”
Revelation 2:8–11

The church in Smyrna faced persecution, suffering, and hardship, yet Jesus gave them no rebuke — only encouragement to remain faithful. In a world filled with fear, trials, and uncertainty, Christ reminds His people that faithfulness is more valuable than comfort and eternal reward is greater than temporary suffering.

True revival is not seen in a life free from difficulties, but in believers who courageously stand firm for Christ no matter the cost.

Jesus says:
“Do not fear what you are about to suffer… Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.” — Revelation 2:10 (ESV)

Are you weary, discouraged, or fearful? Come and be strengthened by God’s Word as we learn how the church in Smyrna remained steadfast in the midst of trials.

Join us this Sunday and invite your family and friends!

“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
— Isaiah 40:31 (ESV)

The middle of the week often leaves us weary and drained, but God promises renewed strength to those who wait upon Him. Through prayer, we are reminded that our hope is not in ourselves, but in the Lord who sustains us every day.

Join us tonight as we gather in prayer, encourage one another, and seek God’s wisdom, peace, and strength together. No burden is too heavy and no concern is too small for our faithful God.

Tonight at 7:30 PM via Zoom
Come with expectant hearts and let us seek the Lord together.

Love is more than an emotion, it is the visible evidence of a heart transformed by Christ. In a world marked by division, pride, and selfishness, God calls His people to “put on love” daily. It is a deliberate choice to reflect the character of Jesus in the way we speak, forgive, serve, and care for others.

Paul reminds us that love “binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Without love, kindness becomes empty, service becomes burdensome, and relationships become fragile. But when Christ-centered love fills our hearts, unity grows, grace overflows, and the church becomes a beautiful testimony of the gospel.

May we not only speak about love, but truly live it out, in our homes, our church, and our everyday lives. Let the love of Christ shape the way we treat one another, for love is the mark of those who truly belong to Him.

The church in Ephesus was faithful in many ways; they worked hard, stood for truth, endured trials, and rejected false teaching. Yet in the midst of all their activity, they neglected the most important thing: their love for Christ.

Jesus’ warning in Revelation 2:1–7 reminds us that outward service and spiritual activity can never replace a genuine, passionate relationship with Him. We may serve in ministry, attend church regularly, know sound doctrine, and remain busy with Christian duties, but if our hearts no longer burn with love for Christ, something essential is missing.

“Without love for Christ, nothing else matters.”

The Lord does not only look at what we do, He also looks at the condition of our hearts. Christianity is not merely about routine, performance, or obligation; it is about loving Jesus deeply and walking closely with Him daily.

Have you drifted from your first love? Christ lovingly calls us to remember, repent, and return to Him. May we not settle for a faith that is active outwardly but cold inwardly. Let us rekindle our love for Christ, the One who first loved us.

This Sunday, we begin our journey through the seven churches of Revelation with the church in Ephesus and a timely message entitled:

“Rekindle Your Love for Christ”
Revelation 2:1–7

The church in Ephesus was known for sound doctrine, hard work, and faithful service, yet Jesus exposed a deeper problem: they had abandoned their first love.

It is possible to be busy in ministry, active in church, and faithful in duty while our hearts slowly grow cold toward Christ. More than our service, Jesus desires our love, devotion, and wholehearted worship.

Join us this Sunday as we seek together to rekindle our love for Christ and experience true spiritual renewal.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

EBC Men, you are invited to join our Men’s Bible Study and Fellowship this Sunday at 1:00 PM as we gather together for a time of learning, encouragement, prayer, and brotherhood in Christ.

After the morning worship service, we will also have a lunch fellowship, so feel free to bring a shareable dish as we enjoy both physical and spiritual nourishment together. This is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our walk with the Lord and build meaningful fellowship with fellow brothers in the faith.

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13–14 (ESV)

In a world that constantly challenges biblical manhood, godly men are called to stand firm, lead faithfully, love sacrificially, and grow continually in God’s Word.

New Sermon Series

“Revive Us Again: Church Revitalization Lessons through Revelation 2–3”

Join us as we journey through the seven churches in the book of Revelation and discover Christ’s message to His Church, messages of correction, encouragement, perseverance, repentance, and renewal.

In every church addressed in Revelation 2–3, we see a mirror of the struggles churches still face today: losing our first love, compromising with the world, becoming spiritually complacent, or growing weary in faithfulness. Yet we also see the gracious call of Christ to return, repent, remain faithful, and be revived again.

Church revitalization is not merely about increasing attendance or improving programs. True revitalization begins when God’s people humbly return to Christ, treasure His Word, pursue holiness, and renew their passion for His mission.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” — Revelation 2:7 (ESV)

Come and worship with us this Sunday at 10:00 AM as we begin this timely and challenging series together. Invite your family, friends, and loved ones as we seek God’s reviving work in our hearts, our homes, and our church.

VBS 2026: “Treasure Hunt: Seeking the Riches of Christ”

What an amazing and blessed two days we had last May 1–2 as we journeyed together in discovering the greatest treasure of all, Jesus Christ!

We give all the highest praise and thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness, guidance, protection, and overflowing joy throughout our Vacation Bible School. Truly, every smile, lesson, worship song, game, and moment was a reminder of His love and grace.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our volunteer teachers, staff, facilitators, and workers who gave their time, effort, patience, and love to make this VBS successful. Your dedication became a blessing to every child who attended.

To everyone who prayed for this ministry and generously supported us financially, thank you for partnering with us in sharing God’s Word and love to the children. Your support helped make this mission possible!

And now, here are the video highlights of our unforgettable VBS adventure!
Let us continue seeking the true riches found only in Christ.

In a generation where many homes are built on temporary values and shifting priorities, Joshua made a bold and unwavering declaration: his household would belong to the Lord. Serving God was not just a personal decision, it was a family commitment.

Every home is being shaped by something. The question is: Who will reign at the center of our homes? A Christ-centered family does not happen by accident. It is built through prayer, obedience to God’s Word, worship, forgiveness, and a daily commitment to follow Him together.

As Christian families, may we courageously choose the Lord above all else. Let our homes become places where Christ is honored, His Word is treasured, and His love is seen in the way we live and serve one another.

May Joshua’s declaration become the testimony of every believer today:
“As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
