There is grace in Christ that forgives and transforms.

In John 7:53–8:11, we see a woman caught in adultery brought before Jesus in shame and condemnation. Yet Christ responded with both truth and mercy. Jesus did not ignore sin, but He revealed the grace that calls sinners to repentance and new life in Him.

This week, we will study how the mercy of Christ changes hearts and leads us to walk in holiness for God’s glory.

Minsan, akala natin hindi tayo karapat-dapat lumapit sa Diyos dahil sa ating nakaraan, pagkukulang, o sugat sa buhay. Ngunit gaya ng babaeng Samaritana sa John 4:1–42, ipinapakita sa atin ni Jesus na walang taong hindi kayang abutin ng Kanyang biyaya.

Sa isang simpleng pag-uusap sa balon, nabago ang kanyang buhay magpakailanman. Ang babaeng dating umiiwas sa tao ay naging matapang na tagapagbahagi ng katotohanan tungkol kay Cristo.

Ganito kumikilos ang Diyos. Hindi Niya tayo hinahanap para husgahan, kundi para bigyan ng bagong buhay, bagong pag-asa, at “tubig na buhay” na tunay na makakapuno sa ating kaluluwa.

Kapag si Jesus ang ating nakatagpo, hindi lang tayo nababago, nagiging instrumento rin tayo upang maipakilala Siya sa iba.

Mula sa pagiging sugatan at puno ng kahihiyan, ang babaeng Samaritana ay naging matapang na tagapagbahagi ng Mabuting Balita matapos makatagpo si Jesus.

Isang pag-uusap lamang kay Cristo ang nagbago ng kanyang buhay.

Ganito pa rin kumikilos ang Diyos hanggang ngayon. Kaya Niyang palitan ang ating takot ng tapang, ang ating kahinaan ng layunin, at ang ating nakaraan ng bagong simula.

Anuman ang iyong pinagdaraanan, may pag-asa kay Jesus. Lumapit ka lamang sa Kanya.

The LORD is sovereign! ✨

When nations tremble and political storms rage, the throne of God remains unmoved. In every season of uncertainty, we do not anchor our hope in earthly powers, political systems, or human promises. we rest in the sovereign Lord who rules over all nations with perfect wisdom, righteousness, and power.

The God who appoints kings, establishes boundaries, and governs history is never anxious, never absent, and never out of control. For the believer, this is not a call to fear, panic, or despair but to prayer, discernment, and steadfast faith in Christ our true King.

May the Church shine brightly in these uncertain days: standing for truth, praying for the Philippines, and resting in the gospel hope that above every throne stands our reigning and ruling Lord of lords and King of kings!
