In response to DOP Circular No. 2026-042, the Diocese of Parañaque Catechetical Ministry (ComCaRE) warmly invites all Catholics 18 years old and above to join the Basic Faith Formation, a lecture series based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Whether you are a catechist, ministry worker, parish volunteer, or a faithful seeking to deepen your knowledge of the Catholic faith, this formation is an opportunity to grow in your relationship with Christ and to become a more effective witness to the Gospel.

IN PHOTOS | San Antonio de Padua Parish (SAPP) Youth Leaders during the Ignatian Leadership Formation in Don Bosco School of Theology-Parañaque on June 6, 2026

Youth leaders from various groups and ministries under the Commission on Youth spent a meaningful day of learnings, reflection, and fellowship during the Ignatian Leadership Formation on June 6, 2026.

The formation opened with Fr. Padrey Dela Cruz, SDB, Rector of the Don Bosco School of Theology-Parañaque, who also welcomed the youth to the Don Bosco campus and to the event.

Paula Jean Gado-Gogna facilitated a special journaling session, inviting them to be more intentional in making time to pause through writing. Highlighting how journaling can become a form of their personal prayers, she shared that this can allow them to create a deeper encounter with God. She also reminded them that leadership is not about power or position, but it is about vocation and faithful response to their calling.

This was followed by a relevant leadership talk by Lesley Anne Rosales, centering on leading with heart, mission, and justice. Drawing from St. Ignatius of Loyola’s teachings, she encouraged them to maintain a teachable disposition, because where they are now is precisely where God is calling them. She also discussed that a good leader should be: empathetic, empowering, expert or knowledgeable, enthusiastic, engaged, and excellent.

After sharing experiences and stories with one another, everyone gathered for Taizé, especially where the youth experienced a contemplative form of prayer through meditation, silence, and songs.

The Ignatian Leadership Formation concluded in the celebration of the Holy Mass, which was presided by Fr. Martin Macasaet, SDB, Vice-Dean for the Institute of Pastoral Formation of Don Bosco School of Theology-Parañaque.

As servant-leaders, may we also be inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola to find God in all things (FGIAT). Whether in moments of discernment, growth, or even uncertainty, may our every act of leadership and service remain rooted in prayer and embodied through courage, generosity, and humility. ❤️‍🔥

📢 URGENT CALL FOR DONATIONS FOR LOWER BARANGAY FIRE VICTIMS

Marami pong mga kabataan mula sa ating parish youth at kanilang mga pamilya ang naapektuhan ng malaking sunog kagabi malapit sa ating simbahan. Marami po sa kanila ang nawalan ng mga tirahan at mga pangunahing pangangailangan.

Nasa post po sa ibaba ang mga maaari niyo pong ma-donate sa pamamagitan ng ating parokya. Anuman po ang maibabahagi ninyo ay malaking tulong para sa ating mga kabataang biktima at sa kanilang mga pamilya.

Para po sa karagdagang coordination, maaari po kayong makipag-ugnayan kay Mary Noll Christine Caadyang, ang ating Lay Youth Coordinator.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong malasakit at panalangin.
