May 17, 2026 ✨

Nagkaroon ng simpleng Lectio Divina at Gospel Sharing ang SDYC upang mas pagnilayan ang kahulugan ng Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord.

Sa Ebanghelyo, umalis si Hesus sa piling ng Kanyang mga alagad—pero bago Siya umalis, nag-iwan Siya ng misyon, pag-asa, at pangakong hindi sila tunay na maiiwan.

Sa aming meditation, naitanong rin:
“Kung ikaw ang aalis sa oras na iyon, ano ang iiwan mong mensahe sa grupo?”

At doon namin na-realize…
Ang tunay na presence ay hindi nasusukat sa haba ng panahon na pananatili mo, kundi sa pagmamahal, aral, at inspirasyong iniiwan mo sa mga taong nakasama mo.

Tulad ni Hesus, may mga pag-alis na masakit intindihin—pero minsan ang pag-alis ay hindi katapusan. Ito ay pagtitiwala na ang mga taong iniwan mo ay magpapatuloy sa misyong sinimulan ninyo nang magkakasama.

Hindi lahat ng paalam ay pagkawala. Minsan, ito ay simula ng mas malalim na mission. 🤍🙏

Minsan akala natin “tapos na.”

Tapos na ang pangarap.
Tapos na ang relasyon.
Tapos na ang pagkakataon.

Pero kay God, ang “tapos” natin minsan ay simula pa lang pala ng bagong chapter.

Kung may nagsara man na pinto, baka may mas magandang binubuksan na hindi mo pa nakikita.

Trust the “and then” of God. ✨🙏

Sa Mateo 28:16-20, umalis si Hesus physically pero hindi Siya nawala. Iniwan Niya ang mission na ipalaganap ang Kanyang salita at ang promise na ‘I am with you always.’ 🤍✨

Reflection:
Minsan feeling natin mag-isa tayo sa calling natin, pero hindi tayo pinapagawa ni Lord nang walang kasama. Kung saan ka inilagay ngayon.. school, work, pamilya, ministry baka doon ang mission mo. 🌍🔥

“ANG TOTOO? Maraming gustong MAHALIN ang DIYOS…pero ayaw sundin ang UTOS Niya."

At minsan ganun din tayo sa magulang natin...
gusto natin ng freedom, pero galit tayo kapag may boundaries.

(Juan 14:15-21) malinaw ang sabi ni Hesus:
‘If you love me, keep my commandments.’

Hindi lang pala ‘I love you Lord’ ang sukatan ng faith.
Hindi lang ‘love you mama/papa’ ang sukatan ng respeto.

Minsan, ang tunay na pagmamahal ay:
✔ pakikinig kahit hindi convenient
✔ pagsunod kahit hindi mo gusto
✔ pagtitiwala kahit hindi mo pa naiintindihan ang dahilan

Because sometimes, the rules you hate today…
are the same boundaries protecting your future.

Bago magrebelde, tanungin muna ang sarili:
pride ba ito… o wisdom ang tinatanggihan ko?

Love is not just felt.
Love obeys.

📖 Mga Gawa 6:1-7
Nagkaroon ng reklamo sa komunidad—pero imbes na magkalat ng negativity, naghanap sila ng solusyon. 🤝
Leadership is not about doing everything alone; it’s about serving wisely.

🎶 Salmo 32
Ang tunay na seguridad ay hindi nasa pera, status, o validation ng ibang tao—kundi sa Panginoon na laging tapat. 🙏✨

📖 1 Pedro 2:4-9
Tinawag tayong maging “living stones” 🪨
Ibig sabihin: may halaga ka, may purpose ka, at bahagi ka ng mas malaking plano ng Diyos. 👑

📖 Juan 14:1-12
Sabi ni Hesus:
“Ako ang daan, ang katotohanan, at ang buhay.” ✝️

Sa mundong maraming distractions, fake standards, at pressure na sumabay sa uso—may isang daan na hindi naliligaw: si Kristo. ❤️

✨ Reflection:
Kapag may problema → maging bahagi ng solusyon 🤝
Kapag natatakot → magtiwala sa Diyos 🙏
Kapag feeling mo wala kang halaga → tandaan mong pinili ka Niya 👑
Kapag nalilito ka sa buhay → sundan si Hesus, Siya ang ating patnubay. ✝️

Hindi ka aksidente. Hindi ka forgotten. Tinatawag ka para sa mas mataas na purpose. 🔥

“Hindi lahat ng boses na naririnig mo… para sa’yo.” 🎧

Sa dami ng ingay ngayon—
opinions, trends, pressure, expectations—
ang hirap malaman kung sino ang susundan mo.

Pero ngayong Good Shepherd Sunday 🐑
at World Day of Prayer for Vocations 🙏,
may paalala:

👉 may Shepherd na kilala ka
👉 hindi ka lang isa sa crowd—tinatawag ka sa pangalan mo

Sa Gospel of John 10:1–10,
hindi Siya nangunguna para mag-control—
nangunguna Siya para gabayan ka sa buhay na totoo.

At sa Acts of the Apostles 2:14a,36–41,
may mga taong nakinig… at nagbago ang direction ng buhay nila.

Sa First Epistle of Peter 2:20b–25,
paalala na kahit naliligaw ka minsan—
may Shepherd na handang ibalik ka.

So kung ngayon:
nalilito ka sa future,
hindi mo alam kung saan ka pupunta,
o kung anong calling mo—

pause.

Hindi lahat ng boses ay guide.
Pero may isang boses na kilala ka…
at tinatawag ka pabalik sa purpose mo. ✨

pero Siya pala yung kausap mo habang nagra-rant ka sa buhay. 🤍

May mga moment na:
pagod ka 😩, confused ka 🤯, at parang wala nang direction 🧭

Same sa story sa Gospel of Luke 24:13–35—
naglalakad sila palayo sa hope… 🚶‍♂️💔
pero hindi nila alam, kasama na pala nila si Jesus ✨

Hindi nila Siya na-recognize agad.
Pero ramdam nila. 🔥

Ganun din minsan sa’yo.

Hindi obvious.
Hindi clear.
Pero present. 🤍

So kung ngayon:
feeling mo lost ka 😔
walang nangyayari ⏳
parang tahimik si God…

baka hindi Siya tahimik. 🤫
Hindi mo lang Siya napapansin…

kasi naglalakad Siya kasama mo. 🚶‍♂️✨
