It is with heavy hearts that we convey the sudden passing of our dear friend and brother priest, Rev. Fr. John Francis Frederick “Jeff” K. Manlapig, a diocesan priest attached to the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Joseph (Bamboo Organ Church), and the current Diocesan Vocation Promotions Director. Fr. Jeff was called home to our Heavenly Father on June 14, 2024, after devoting 17 years of his life to serving the Church and its people.

Details regarding the final funeral arrangements and memorial services will be shared with all parish communities as they become available.

Please join us in praying for the eternal repose of Fr. Jeff’s soul and offering comfort and support to his family, friends, and all those who mourn his passing. May he rest in peace in the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father for all eternity.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
