OSR Philippines Vocation

OSR Philippines Vocation We are CONSECRATED women especially SENSITIVE to the PAIN of WOMEN in context of Prostitution. We are present in 15 countries.

The Oblate Sisters of the Most Holy Redeemer is a group of women called together in community and sent to live the following of Jesus, being Good News of the Kingdom for women who exercise prostitution and / or are victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation. Our being of oblates leads us to compromise our lives in favor of equality, justice, liberation and life. This exciting project, initiate

d by our Founders, José María Benito Serra and Antonia María de la Misericordia, is developed in Shared Mission with the whole “Oblate family”, giving rise, from the different forms of collaboration, life experiences and professional profiles, to creative and bold responses.

On this holy Feast of Pentecost, the Church celebrates the birth of her mission and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It is with this same spirit of renewal and joy that our community welcomes Altheia to our formation house for her religious exposure program.

As she spends time living, praying, and sharing in our daily life, we ask the Holy Spirit to be her counselor and guide. May this exposure be a fruitful time of discernment, community bond, and spiritual growth.

Welcome, Altheia! We are so blessed to have you with us. 🤗🙏🫂

From the maternal protection of our Mother of Perpetual Help, to the courageous 'Yes' of our Foundress, Mother Antonia Maria of Mercy, the missionary zeal of Sr. Isidora Irisarri who opened our doors in the Philippines, and the quiet, enduring sacrifices of our own mothers, we are surrounded by a legacy of love.

Today, we honor the women who taught us how to give, how to pray, and how to serve. To the mothers of our Sisters and our formands: thank you for gifting your daughters to the Church. Your sacrifice is the foundation of our vocation.
