MEN’S SPECIAL NUMBER and FELLOWSHIP

A blessed moment during our worship service today as the men of our church rendered a special number in praise and worship to our LORD.

It was more than just a song—it was an offering of our voices, talents, and hearts to glorify God.

“Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.” — Psalm 33:3

Thank you, men, for serving the LORD through music! May everything we do always point people to Christ and bring glory to God.

To God be all the glory!

12 Souls Willing to Follow the LORD Jesus Christ in Water Baptism!

What a blessed day as 12 precious souls attended our Baptismal Class today, learning more about the meaning, significance, and biblical foundation of following Christ in baptism.

We rejoice not simply because they are preparing for a baptismal service, but because they are taking a step of obedience and public identification with Jesus Christ.

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead… even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
— Romans 6:4

May the LORD continue to work in their hearts, strengthen their faith, and guide them as they follow Christ. To God be all the glory!

Bible Study | 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith

Continuing our journey through the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith, learning about “Of God and the Holy Trinity.”

The more we study who God is, the more we realize how much there is to learn about our great and glorious GOD.

Not merely to gain knowledge, but to know Him more deeply, worship Him more sincerely, and live for His glory more faithfully.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Hosting a Pastors’ Fellowship of South Metro today!

What a blessing to hear the different stories of God’s grace and faithfulness in the lives and ministries of our pastors. Each story reminds us that behind every pastor is a testimony of God’s sustaining grace.

I’m also deeply grateful for the love and support of our church members who made this rare opportunity to serve and bless our pastors possible. Truly, ministry becomes more meaningful when God’s people come together to honor and encourage those who faithfully serve Him.

To God be all the glory for this blessed fellowship!
May we continue to pray for, encourage, and care for our pastors.

Interchurch Fellowship

Blessed to be part of an Interchurch Fellowship where we learned how to break free from the culture of peer pressure—a timely reminder of what God’s Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:33: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

It was a meaningful time of learning, encouragement, fellowship, and being reminded to choose the right influences and surround ourselves with people who help us grow closer to Christ.

Indeed, a great and blessed fellowship!
May we continue to influence others for Christ rather than be influenced by the world.

Choose your influence. Guard your heart. Stand for Christ.

BIBLE STUDY | A NEW THEME BEGINS

Tonight, we begin a new journey of learning and growing together through The 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith.

We’re excited to see how the LORD will use His Word and sound doctrine to shape the minds, deepen the faith, and strengthen the convictions of our young people.

A new theme. A deeper study. A stronger faith.

Curious and expectant for what the LORD will teach our young people in the weeks ahead!

Bible Study at the Latorre Residence | Quezon City

A blessed time of learning and fellowship as we gathered together to study John 6:1–14 and reflect on how Jesus faithfully provides for His people.

We are grateful for the wonderful fellowship, meaningful conversations, and precious moments of prayer. Truly, there is joy and strength when believers come together around God’s WORD and prayer.

May we continue to trust the One who can do much with what we willingly place in His hands.

To God be all the glory!

SENDING OFF SOPHIE WITH PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS!

Southgate Baptist Church joyfully sends off Sophie as she begins a new chapter abroad to pursue her Master’s degree!

We are grateful for how God has guided her journey, and we pray that He will continue to lead, protect, strengthen, and use her wherever He places her.

May this new adventure be more than an academic journey—it may it become an opportunity to grow deeper in faith, discover God’s purpose, and be a blessing to others.

Sophie, go with our prayers and the assurance that God goes before you! Wherever you go, may your life continue to point people to Christ.

“Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3

We will be praying for you, Sophie!
Southgate Baptist Church is proud of you. Go and make a difference for God’s glory!

What a wonderful day of worship, fellowship, and prayer with fellow believers!

Today, we were reminded from Exodus 14 of a powerful truth: We have a God who is willing to fight for us. When the way seems impossible and we feel trapped between fear and uncertainty, God remains faithful.

Sometimes, our greatest act of faith is simply to stand firm, trust God, and watch Him work.

“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14

Grateful for today’s fellowship, God’s Word, and the privilege of praying together. Indeed, when we cannot make a way, God makes a way!
