Transformed Lives, Saved by Grace

In the life of the Church, ministry is more than a role, it is a calling to become instruments of God’s grace in the lives of His people. Through pastoral care, servant leadership, and a heart rooted in Christ, transformation begins not only within communities, but within each soul encountered along the way.
With hearts filled with gratitude, we honor the faithful service of our recently elected Custos, Fr. Dennis Ma. Vargas, OFMConv., and our newly elected Definitor, Fr. Gerard Ma. Lofranco, OFMConv.—shepherds who do not only exercise authority, but serve with great humility and deep devotion to God.
As Parish Priest and guide to the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), Fr. Gerard has nurtured a community grounded in faith, unity, and active participation in the life of the Church. Through his leadership, the parish has grown into a place where the faithful are formed, accompanied, and strengthened in their spiritual journey.
In his ministry with the Parish Commission on Youth (PCOY), Fr. Dennis has become a source of inspiration for the youth—forming young hearts to live the Gospel with courage, joy, and authenticity. His dedication has transformed lives by drawing the youth closer to Christ and empowering them to become witnesses of faith in their own generation.
Truly, what is being transformed is not only programs or communities, but hearts, hearts that learn to trust more deeply, serve more selflessly, and love more fully. Through their ministries, these priests have become living instruments of grace, guiding others toward renewal, strengthening faith, and reflecting God’s presence in everyday life.
As they begin a new chapter in their ministry, we offer our heartfelt thanksgiving for their selfless service and unwavering commitment. May the Lord continue to guide them as they lead, inspire, and transform lives for His greater glory.
