Triennium of Preparation for the Rogationists' 50 Years in the Philippines

𝟤𝓃𝒹 𝐸𝓃𝒸𝑜𝓊𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝐹𝓇. 𝐻𝒶𝓃𝓃𝒾𝒷𝒶𝓁| ᴍᴀʀᴄʜ 21, 2026

On the evening of March 21, 2026, the Union of Prayer for Vocations (UPV) gathered online via Zoom for the second "Encounter with Fr. Hannibal." This prayer meeting was led by representatives from various UPV cenacles.
This encounter, which aims to help us know our Saintly Founder more deeply, centered on the experiences of Fr. Hannibal during his adolescence, his discernment of his vocation, and his seminary years.

The gathering began with the song "We Love You, Fr. Hannibal," led by the Rogationist Novices. This was followed by an explanation of the three qualities of his vocation: sudden, irresistible, and certain, as well as a reading regarding his journey through the seminary. Afterward, several UPV members shared their personal encounters with Fr. Hannibal, reflecting on their journeys with the Congregation and their continuous commitment to the mission of the Holy Founder - to pray for more holy laborers in the Church. The encounter concluded with a prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary and a virtual group photo.

May the spirit of the Rogate and St. Hannibal continue to live in the hearts of all the members of the Union of Prayer for Vocations and the laity!

101 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 | FDFCS - UPV Lenten Pilgrimage 2026

The Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus – St. Matthew Province is currently celebrating the third year of preparation for the upcoming 50th Anniversary of the Rogationists’ presence in the Philippines. This year’s theme, “Mapapalad: The Grace of the Laity,” recognizes and honors the generous and steadfast support of lay collaborators who actively participate in the Rogationist mission throughout the country.

As part of the triennium celebration and in observance of the Lenten season, the religious community of the Father Di Francia Center of Studies organized its annual Lenten Pilgrimage on March 14, 2026. The pilgrimage gathered the religious of the formation house, members of the Union of Prayer for Vocations from the St. Anne, St. Anthony, and St. Therese Chapters, together with other lay faithful, for a day dedicated to prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

The pilgrimage began with the celebration of the Holy Mass at the National Shrine of St. Padre Pio, presided over by Rev. Fr. Genrod Hadrian O. Carreon and concelebrated by several Rogationist priests. In his homily, Fr. Carreon encouraged the faithful to embrace humility, drawing from the Gospel story of the tax collector and warning against the dangers of pride. He reminded the pilgrims that humility allows one to entrust oneself to the Lord and be guided by Him, especially during the Lenten season of repentance and renewal.

After the Mass, the pilgrims continued their spiritual journey by visiting the Invencion de la Sta. Cruz Parish, the Minor Basilica and Parish of St. Martin of Tours, and concluded at the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Caysasay. With 101 participants and favorable weather throughout the day, the pilgrimage became a meaningful Lenten experience of faith and prayer, as the community continued to ask the Lord of the harvest to send more holy laborers into His vineyard.
