MISSIONARY | Elder Joshua Miguel D. Ar**la began his full-time missionary service on April 24, 2026. He is serving in the Philippines Cagayan De Oro Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elder Ar**la is a musically gifted young adult. Before his mission, he has been writing and singing songs that appeal to his generation. In the mission, he will “sing the song of redeeming love” (Alma 5:26) to the people in his mission.

MISSIONARY | Elder Reece Jarret S. Cervantes will begin his full-time missionary service on April 16, 2026.

In a recent post from the FSY 2025 Imus and Parañaque page, Elder Cervantes said, "There is no isolated place in our life that the Lord’s light cannot reach.". He will be serving the people within the boundaries of the Philippines Angeles Mission sharing and testifying of the Light of the World.

YSA GATHERING | The young single adults (YSA) of the stake gathered for a night of service. YSA Returned Missionaries shared their experiences and memorabilia from their time as full-time missionaries. Everyone in attendance were inspired by the many stories of serving the Lord.

Elder and Sister Domingo, Service Mission Advisers, taught about the many opportunities to continue serving even as service missionaries. They shared many stories highlighting the dedication and commitment of the young service missionaries.

"Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work" (Doctrine and Covenants 4:3)

MISSIONARIES | Sister Ana Rose D. Calim began her service as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints last March 13, 2026. She has been assigned to the Utah Layton Mission.

In a post from an FSY page, Sister Calim shared her testimony about gathering strength amidst challenges. She shared, "When my mission call brought challenges that tested my resolve, I returned to the beginning —remembering how the gospel changed me and how the Lord has blessed me on the covenant path. I want to share those blessings with all of Heavenly Father’s children."

MISSIONARIES | Sister Ellesha T. Santillan began her service as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints last March 13, 2026. She has been assigned to the Taiwan Kaohsiung Mission.

Prior to serving a full-time mission, she gave a message at the stake conference about service. She taught that, "He does not call the qualified. He qualifies the called."
