Over the weekend, our church family came together in faith, generosity, and service as we launched our Love the City: Pray, Bless, Serve initiative for the families affected by the successive fire incidents in Parañaque this past week.
Last Saturday and Sunday, we took time to pray for the communities and families impacted by these tragedies. We are deeply grateful for every person who gave in cash and in kind, volunteered their time, and extended their hearts to serve.
Yesterday, together, we were able to pack 270 Love the City bags, which were distributed today to families staying at San Antonio Elementary School, currently serving as the evacuation center.
More than giving relief goods, we desired to share God’s love, encouragement, and hope. We took time to pray with families, share God’s Word, and remind them that they are not alone in this season.
To everyone who took part by praying, blessing, and serving — thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus to our city. In moments like these, we are reminded that even in the midst of loss, God’s love continues to move through His people.
