Inspired by the words of St. John Bosco, “This is my house; from it my glory shines forth,” we invite all devotees, shrines, parishes, and groups to the 2nd National Convention in Propagating the Devotion to Mary Help of Christians, themed Shine Forth: Devotion, Propagation, and Mission.

Laudate Dominum!

Our parish community is delighted to announce that the Holy Father, Pope Francis, has approved the elevation of the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians Parish to a Minor Basilica.

In the document Domus Dei, issued by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, the Church affirms her enduring mission to uphold the beauty and sacredness of the House of God. For this reason, she continues to grant the title of Minor Basilica to select churches, a designation that signifies a special bond with the Chair of St. Peter and an invitation to become a center of liturgical and pastoral life for God’s people.

Receiving this honor is truly a grace from God and a profound blessing for our National Shrine and Parish.

To all the devotees of Mary Help of Christians, for the upcoming 43rd Intramuros Grand Marian Procession on December 1, 2024, the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians Parish is selling an official shirt for the event. The cost of each shirt is Php 250.00. For pre-orders, you may approach the friendly table outside of the Marian Center every Sunday starting from November 10, 17, and 24. See you there.
