A Short Devotion from our Afternoon Youth Fellowship

"O Dios, kayo ang aking Dios. Hinahanap-hanap ko kayo. Uhaw na uhaw ang kaluluwa ko para sa iyo, patay na patay ang katauhan ko para sa presensya mo, na ako'y parang naging lupang tigang sa ulan." (Salmo 63:1)

Kung uhaw ka, eh di uminom ka ng tubig. Ibig sabihin kasi nuon, na ang katawan mo ay nangangailangan at nanghihina na dahil sa dehydration. Ngunit alam mo ba na mayroon din spiritual dehydration? Na ang ating kaluluwa ay nauuhaw din? Ang tanging lunas dito ay ang "Living Water" na si Kristo Hesus! Kailangan natin siya para malunasan ang tagtuyot na pananampalataya natin. Kaya't kung ikaw ay nanghihina, nawawalan ng pag-asa, o na-dedepress -- lumapit lang sa kanya.

Pray this prayer with me: "O Dios, hinahanap hanap kita. Ligtasin mo ako. Bigyan mo ng lunas ang aking tagtuyot sa pananampalataya, at ibalik mo ang uhaw ko para sa iyo. Amen."
