Today, two faithful missionaries were set apart willing to leave behind comfort, family, and familiarity to serve the Lord with all their heart, might, mind, and strength. They were set apart today, and tomorrow they begin a sacred journey as they report to the Missionary Training Center.

As you wear the Savior’s name on your chest, may you always remember whose work you are doing. There will be hard days, homesick nights, and moments of stretching beyond your limits—but the Lord walks before you.

You are leaving as sons, but you will surely return as changed men of God.

May your testimonies burn brighter, your faith grow deeper, and your love for the Savior become stronger with every step you take. Somewhere, someone’s prayer will be answered because you chose to serve.

The Finishers

New Clark City — On June 6th, 2026, two members of the Batac Philippines Stake, who are both alumni of the Academy for Creating Enterprise PH (ACE) Batac Chapter, secured runner-up positions in two different categories at the Business Competition organized by ACE Philippines.

Anchesca Daduyo, the First Runner-Up in the Start Now Business Category, won a cash prize. Daduyo’s business focuses on arts, crafts, and a printing shop. In the other category, Joyce Apostol, the First Runner-Up in the Grow Now Business Category, walked away with a cash prize. Apostol’s business specializes in newborn photography.

The success of these two entrepreneurs was made possible through the mentorship of Joseph Gamponia and Bonifacio Galapia, who are both officers of the ACE Batac Chapter. Under the leadership of Joel De Guzman, they actively encouraged the winners to join the competition and helped them prepare for their presentations. Driven by a determination to never give up, Apostol and Daduyo were selected as finalists. Through perseverance and hope, they were rewarded with cash prizes that will greatly benefit their personal growth and business expansion.

𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞: 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🌟

On May 30, 2026, the Batac Philippines Stake successfully conducted the Combined Youth and Young Single Adult Love, Share, Invite Activity at the Batac Stake Center. As part of the Area Plan to strengthen the rising generation, the activity became a meaningful and faith-filled gathering that inspired the youth and young single adults to draw closer to the Savior and prepare for missionary service.

To begin with, the event opened with inspiring testimonies from Brother Peter Paul Abucay, a recently returned missionary, and Elder Rhemus Tomas, Young Service Mission Adviser. Through their experiences and messages, participants were encouraged to strengthen their testimonies and develop a deeper desire to serve the Lord.

Following this, attendees explored the mission booth exhibits featuring four mission clusters: Foreign Mission, South Luzon Mission, Central and Northern Luzon Mission, and Visayas Mission. As participants visited each booth, they gained a better understanding of missionary life, the importance of sharing the gospel, and the joy that comes from serving others.

Moreover, the spiritual atmosphere of the gathering continued through uplifting messages from Sister Palmer, wife of the Mission President, together with Zone Leaders Elder Dejella and Elder Pacheco, as well as Sister Training Leaders Sister Veater and Sister Felipel. Their words inspired the youth to remain faithful, courageous, and willing to answer the call to serve.

In addition, Young Single Adults from the Batac Stake who recently received their mission calls shared heartfelt testimonies. Because of their faith and willingness to serve, many participants felt motivated and inspired to prepare themselves spiritually for future missionary opportunities.

Meanwhile, President Nicole Rey B. Baga, Second Counselor in the Stake Presidency, delivered an encouraging message that strengthened the participants’ commitment to follow Jesus Christ.

Finally, President Michael C. Duyao, Stake President, concluded the activity with inspiring closing remarks, reminding everyone of their divine potential and responsibility to help gather Israel.

Indeed, the Love, Share, Invite Activity became a memorable spiritual experience. Not only did it strengthen testimonies and build unity among the youth, but it also inspired the rising generation to continue loving, sharing, and inviting others to come unto Christ while preparing for lifelong discipleship and future missionary service. ❤️✨

Walking the Covenant Path: Batac Stake Relief Society Leads a Sacred Temple Journey of Faith and Covenants 2026

The Batac Stake Relief Society, through its inspired leadership and initiative, organized a temple trip on May 27, 2026, at the Urdaneta Philippines Temple. This sacred gathering became a memorable experience filled with faith, unity, and a deep love for family history and temple work.

Relief Society sisters, Elders Quorum brethren, and youth from various wards and branches responded to this invitation and gathered in righteousness to worship in the House of the Lord. Together, they participated in sacred ordinances for their ancestors, including proxy baptisms, initiatories, endowments, and sealings—strengthening their testimonies of eternal families and the redeeming work of salvation.

A special highlight of this temple trip was the sacred milestone reached by members from the Pinili Branch. Six faithful individuals took an important step along the covenant path as they received their own endowments. Sisters Adessa Reinette Baldomir, Teresita Agliam, Madelyn Bumatay, and Leizel Baldomir, together with Brother Noreal Butay and Brother Mamerto Pahinag from the Elders Quorum, received this holy ordinance in the House of the Lord.

The Spirit felt within the temple reminded everyone that the House of the Lord is truly a place of peace, revelation, and eternal promises. This Relief Society-led initiative not only strengthened unity among organizations but also inspired all who attended to continue walking faithfully on the covenant path with Jesus Christ.

May 27, 2026 — 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 was set apart as a full-time missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tomorrow, he will report to the MTC to begin his preparation for missionary service in the 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗼 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟴.

His willingness to answer the Savior’s call to serve is a testament of faith, devotion, and commitment to the work of the Lord.

𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

On May 24, 2026, leaders and missionaries from different wards and branches across the Batac Stake gathered for the Ministering & Linking Arms Training, a meaningful event centered on unity, Christlike service, and strengthening the work of salvation. Present during the activity were members of the Batac Stake Presidency, together with President Palmer of the Laoag Mission, full-time missionaries, ward missionaries, and local church leaders.

Throughout the training, attendees were reminded of their significant role in ministering and linking arms with one another in helping individuals and families come closer to Jesus Christ. Moreover, the messages shared emphasized that ministering is more than an assignment—it is a sacred opportunity to serve, uplift, and strengthen others through love, faith, and compassion.

One of the highlights of the activity was the interactive workshop, where participants from different units collaborated, exchanged ideas, and discussed ways to improve ministering efforts within their wards and branches. In addition, the workshop encouraged leaders and missionaries to work together more effectively, strengthen coordination, and create meaningful ways to reach out to those they serve.

Furthermore, the gathering strengthened the unity between missionaries and local leaders as they linked arms in a common purpose. As experiences and insights were shared, the spirit of cooperation and dedication became evident throughout the training.

Indeed, the activity served as a powerful reminder that when leaders and missionaries work together with faith and charity, the Lord’s work moves forward more effectively—one person, one family, and one act of service at a time.

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we proudly congratulate 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗶 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 who was set apart today as a 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀. Tomorrow, he will report to the MTC as he prepares to serve in the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 from 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟴.

As Elder Baldomir shared in his testimony, “𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧. 𝙃𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙤𝙙’𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠.” His words remind us that missionary service is truly an act of faith, courage, and love for the Savior.

Moreover, President Russell M. Nelson taught, “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁.” As Elder Baldomir steps into this new chapter of his life, we know the Lord will magnify his efforts as he faithfully serves and blesses others through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Likewise, Prophet Thomas S. Monson once said, “𝗪𝗵𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀.” We know that as Elder Baldomir continues to trust in the Lord, he will be guided, protected, and strengthened every step of the way.

After the successful For the Strength of Youth (FSY) Conference Laoag Session 2026, the youth and leaders of Stake gathered once again for a Stake Youth Temple Trip at Urdaneta Temple last April 30 to May 1, 2026.

A total of 750 names were brought to the temple for proxy baptisms and confirmations for their ancestors.

It was truly a spiritual and uplifting experience—one that strengthened testimonies and deepened their commitment to serve.

We look forward to the excitement to the next Stake Youth Temple Trip this year! 🫶🏻

𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞: 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐜 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝'𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫

The division of a ward is often viewed with mixed emotions — excitement for growth, yet apprehension over separation. On 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, Batac Ward redefined what division means. What could have been seen as a breaking apart became instead a powerful testament of unity, as 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐜 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐜 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟏 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐜 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟐.

Bishop Manzanas of Batac Ward, emphasized, “𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐜 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝.” His words set the tone for the day: boundaries may change, but brotherhood does not. The Lord’s work is hastening, and with growth comes the sacred responsibility to organize, to minister more closely, and to strengthen every member.

Bishop Napoleon Nalupta of the newly organized unit reminded us that “The Lord uses instruments to help us.” He testified of how the Lord softens hearts in His own time and way. In the context of new callings, new wards, and new responsibilities, his message was clear: submission is a form of love. When we willingly submit our will to God, we allow Him to shape us into better disciples and more compassionate ministers.

President Nicole Rey Baga painted a vivid image with his talk on lower lights below the lighthouse. The lighthouse represents the love of God — constant, bright, and unmoving. We, as members, are the lower lights. “We’re the lower lights who guide the distressed sailors to get near to the lighthouse,” he said. In a growing stake with now two Batac wards, our charge is the same: to reflect His light so others can find safe harbor in Christ.

President Bonifacio Galapia centered his message on the ordinance that begins it all: baptism. With deep conviction, he testified of how essential baptism is for our spiritual awakening. It is not merely a tradition or a rite of passage, but the covenant gate that leads to sanctification. As we divide to better shepherd the flock, we must also remember to bring others to the waters of baptism.

Finally, President Michael C. Duyao looked at the bigger picture and called us to strengthen the wards and stake. With 11 units now in the stake, the Lord is clearly hastening His work in our region. Growth in numbers must be matched by growth in faith, ministering, and unity.

Batac Ward may now be two, but the spirit felt that day confirmed one truth: we are still one. One in purpose. One in covenant. One in Christ. The members may be divided as “Ward 1” or “Ward 2,” but they're united with the same Spirit that testifies that we are all part of one great work.
