You carry something this world desperately needs, but are you using it?

You are the salt of the earth. Salt preserves, which means something around you is decaying: decaying friendships, relationships, families, leadership, even character and parenting. You are called to stand in the middle of that and preserve what is good.

You are also the light of the world. The world is spiritually dark, and light reveals truth. God is truth, so you are meant to reflect on Him so that when people see you, they see Christ in you.

You are called to hold back the decay and bring light into the darkness.

God is moving the pieces, and the world is changing rapidly. Wars, inflation, and chaos are on the rise. But we're not surprised, because the Bible warned us that in the last days, people would be 'lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy' (2 Timothy 3:2). We're seeing it play out before our eyes - a time when 'children will be disobedient to their parents' (2 Timothy 3:2) and the love of many will grow cold. But in the midst of all this, God is still on the throne, and He's calling us to repentance. Will you turn to Him, or will you be swept away by the tide of sin and rebellion? Repent now, and turn back to the One who you call savior.

Are you tired, weary, and feeling overwhelmed? Is too much happening at home, school, in your community, or at work? Are you tired of the cycle, tired of the struggles of this world? Jesus is calling you, and He's speaking directly to your heart. You've been wandering too much, my son, come and I'll give you rest. Just come into His presence, take a deep breath, and talk to Him - He's waiting for you, and He's inviting you to lay your burdens down and find rest in Him."

Matthew 11: 28
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Jesus who is God is mightier than any challenge you face!
Trauma? He is mightier!
Sickness? He is mightier!
Anxiety? He is mightier!
Financial hardships? He is mightier!
Persecution? He is mightier!
As it's written in Ephesians 3:20, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."

Remember, Jesus has all power and authority, as He said in Matthew 28:18, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." Let's hold on to His power and promises, and trust that He will see us through every trial and challenge.

May this be a reminder to us that God is always in control, and His power is always available to us.
