In this time of profound global unrest and local strife, we lift our hearts in a collective plea to the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, to grant us the gift of true and lasting peace. As we witness the devastating toll of wars across the globe and the rising tensions of protests within our own nation, we recognize our deep need for divine intervention to heal our divisions and silence the clamor of conflict. We stand in solidarity with all who suffer, asking for the grace of reconciliation to replace the spirit of hostility and for justice to be the foundation of our common life.

𝗙𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝟬𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪-𝗨𝗣 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚

In faithful service to our apostolate, the Catechetical Youth Ministry conducted a follow-up teaching session at Samput Relocation, continuing our mission of guiding young hearts in faith and understanding. This gathering provided an opportunity to deepen the children’s knowledge of God’s love, strengthen their foundation in Christian values, and nurture their growing relationship with Christ.

Through engaging discussions, joyful interaction, and prayerful moments, our young catechists remained committed to forming not only minds but also hearts—planting seeds of faith that we trust will flourish in time.

In observance of the upcoming Lenten season, the Parish of St. Rose of Lima cordially invites the faithful to bring their blessed palm fronds from previous years to the parish office. These palms will be gathered for the traditional Rite of Burning, a symbolic act of penance and preparation that transforms last year’s celebration into the ashes used to mark our journey of repentance. We encourage all parishioners to participate in this sacred transition as we prepare for the solemnities beginning on February 17, Shrove Tuesday.
