DYD 2026 has just ended, leaving us with hearts full of memories and lessons learned. We have met so many people, participated in so many activities, and achieved happiness in ways we never imagined. This DYD is something we will hold dearly in our hearts forever. May we continue our journey as young witnesses of Christ with hearts filled with love, use the lessons we have learned wisely, and hold the friends we have made dearly in our hearts.

โ€‹We would also like to thank the wonderful people who supported us in order for all of this to happen: the Parish of St. Vincent Ferrer, our Team Moderator- Rev. Fr. Ruel G. Slava, our PYM Spiritual Director- Rev. Fr. Lou Harbe O. Del Rosario, and the many others who helped make this possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts; without you, none of this would have been possible. May God bless you all!

Celebrating Valentine's Day with a twist. The Parish Youth ministry celebrated Valentine's Day with a Taizรฉ prayer, providing their deep devotion to the Lord. Ending hearts day with hearts full of love, not just for themselves, not just for their loved ones, but also for God father all mighty.

As we approach Valentineโ€™s Dayโ€”a time often associated with love and relationshipsโ€”it is important for young people to reflect on the true meaning of love: a love that is responsible, respectful, and life-giving.

At the same time, recent reports from local health offices have shown a continued rise in HIV cases in various parts of the country, including ANTIQUE. This reality calls us to greater awareness, education, and responsible decision-making among the youth.

So here comes the youths of the Parish of San Vicente Ferrer, who eagerly participated in the Pre-Valentine Treat Chastity Forum, not just to listenโ€” but to learn and to share their newly gained knowledge to their fellow youths of Pandan, Antique. Because to them this was not merely a talk but a call to action, to spread awareness, and to prevent the preventable.

With the end of the Parish Youth Day 2026, each one walked away carrying new memories, new friends, and most importantly new learnings. This PYD is a start to spark the hearts of the youths, to get to know their mutual friendโ€” Jesus Christ. On the second day, came the Eucharist celebration and Commissioning, with the participants attending the mass. After the mass the participants were called in for the closing program, with Rev. Fr. Lou Harbe Del Rosario gave a message that brought sparks to the participants' hearts. Before the program was formally closed, each participant was given a certificate for attending the Parish Youth Day with willingness and eagerness to connect with their mutual friendโ€” Jesus Christ.
