Serving hurts real talk.
It drains you in ways people don’t see or appreciate. You give your time, your strength, your heart, and sometimes all you get in return is silence, criticism, or being taken for granted. You show up even when you’re tired, misunderstood, and carrying your own pain, because you believe in the calling more than the comfort. There are moments when serving makes you feel invisible, used, and deeply alone, and you start wondering if it’s still worth it.
But here’s the truth that keeps you standing: the pain in serving is never wasted. God sees every sacrifice that people overlook, every tear you cry in private, every time you choose OBEDIENCE over EASE❤️. Serving will wound you, yes but it will also REFINE you. It strips away pride, deepens compassion, and builds a faith that doesn’t depend on applause. One day, the same service that broke you will be the very thing that proves God’s faithfulness, because what you poured out in pain, He will return in purpose, strength, and quiet but undeniable victory.
