Alliance of Muslim Youth Organizations – Panabo City (AMYO) is an umbrella group of three (3) different youth organizations existent in Panabo City: Ittihadush Shabaab Organization (ISO), Ummah Waahidah Youth Society (UWYS), and Agipo sa Bukid Mountaineers. It was in June 2015, during Ramadhan, where some of the active members from the three groups met to discuss a proposed activity in observance

of the holy month. It was perceived as an opportunity for these youth organizations to break boundaries and unite in aiming at a larger achievement, which could be easier and better done if they work together. On July 11, 2015 in the Jama’ah of Macopa, the event entitled Ramadhan Youth Empowerment Seminar marked the first formal appearance of AMYO to the public of Datu Abdul as a collaborative organization of the three youth groups in Panabo. The pioneering officers were as follows: Mohammad Nassefh Macla – Chairman, Norsally Monzo – Vice Chairman, Hasibah Tamba – Secretary, Roy Tagma – Treasurer, Ali Nawal, Alaica Alilisan, and Jul Aziz Agama – P.I.O. There were already three (3) major activities done within the span of less than a year. However, the group still continues to add more from these, with the desire of serving primarily the Muslim residents in Panabo, catering their spiritual needs, helping them increase in faith, knowledge, and worship to Allah SWT. Hence, they can also train themselves for their own future leadership responsibilities and divine duties to the Almighty Allah.
