Wait for the Lord
Key Verse: Numbers 9:8

SITUATIONS SOMETIMES...
1. We are caught in an uncontrolled situation (just like the unclean Israelites)
2. We get confused because of situations like these..

THE BEST OPTION TO DO:
1. Wait upon the Lord for instructions...
2. And receive what the Lord instructed us to do...

WAIT = 'AMAD'
- Stand still, to endure, to establish "l'amad for the Lord"
- Serving actively while waiting for the Master's command
- Standing still instead of rushing ahead!
- Remain firm and unshakeable during hard times

If you wait on God, do what waiters do: SERVE!

How do we wait for God’s instructions?

A. Refuse to move without guidance
Numbers 9:11
- Pause your plans
- Do not guess your next steps
- The Father will show you the exact path

B. Use God’s word as life coach, not just rules Numbers 9:12
- Jesus, THE LIVING WORD OF GOD - John 1:1 and 14
- Jesus’ teachings as roadmap for success John 12:26

C. Position yourself to obey - Numbers 9:22
- Attentive and sensitive
- Heart is ready
- The moment the instruction comes, you are ready to move

Aligned to God’s Word & Scriptures
The Spirit reminds
The Spirit’s voice must be heard and obeyed

1. Guided by the Father
2. Coached by Lord Jesus
3. Directed by the Holy Spirit

A Mother’s Calling
Key Verse: Exodus 1-2

3 Different Kinds of Mothering

1. A biological mother - Jochebed - Exodus 2
Jochebed’s characteristics
Devotion to God- Proverbs 31:30
Her devotion to God made her fearless and determined despite the situation.
Full of Wisdom - Proverbs 31:26
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Full of Courage - Proverbs 31:25
She had the courage to defy the Pharaoh’s orders for her son to live.

2. An adoptive mother - Pharoah’s Daughter - Exodus 2:5-10
Compassionate - Merciful, Tender-hearted
shows empathy for others
Generous - Exodus 2:7
She provided for the needs a child who is not hers.

3. A spiritual mother - Shiphrah and Puah - Exodus 1:15
Their work may be secular but their function is spiritual.
Their calling is to preserve life, not to terminate it.
Regardless of who you are, when you take care of souls, you are a spiritual mother.

In exchange to what our mothers have done,
Let us honor them. - Ephesians 6:1-3
Give them our time.
Tell them we love them.
Respect them.

The Cross Defeated The End
Key Verse: Romans 6:8-9

In the human perspective, we always see death as the end.

The day that we understood the love of Jesus and received Him in our hearts, we are already living a life of No Limits.

At the cross, Jesus conquered death. His resurrection is the proof that He conquered death.

The Jesus Christ who we received in our lives has the power to conquer the end.

5 D’s that Jesus Christ experienced in His lifetime that we may also experience in our lives.

1. Defamation/ Slander - a false statement that harms reputation.
2. Deadlock - seasons when we feel stuck and we are not advancing., nothing is changing, the situation is not changing, we are not changing.
3. Desolation - abandonment, Jesus’ disciples left when the Roman soldier came to capture Jesus
4. Defeat - Jesus experienced defeat when the people chose Barrabas to be freed instead of him.
5. Death

The key to experience the resurrecting power of Jesus is to live our lives dead to sin and alive in Christ.
