The Land of Far Distances
📜 "Your eyes will see the King in His beauty and view a land that stretches afar."
[ Isaiah 33:17 ]
🤍 The prophet Isaiah spoke of a time when God's rebellious people would turn back to Him. During difficult times, the Lord enables us to see our lives from His viewpoint and regain hope.
Each day, we can choose to look down in discouragement or lift our eyes to "the land of far distances," to the Lord who is our "Mighty One"(v.21)

𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙎𝙀 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘿𝘼𝙔
Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

How can we choose to trust God? We decide in our hearts. We recognize that our own understanding will fail us. We submit our ways, our conversations, our attitudes, our relationships, our employment… our everything to the faithful One who not only straightens our paths but walks them with us.

No matter what challenges you face today, take comfort that God knows every issue in your heart and is able to shoulder your burdens. Hold fast to the faithful One. Your challenges do not fall outside the scope of God’s ability to intervene. He is able to bring peace in the pain and strength in the struggle. Trusting God isn’t always easy… but it is always best.

🙏🏽Dear Faithful Father, You know exactly where we are and You know the circumstances of our lives. Please give us the courage and help us to always trust You not just today but in every moment of our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

📣Choosing to trust God changes everything.

🤍 GOD is so great that He is able to take infinite interest in the most intimate details of our lives. How comforting it is to know that our perfectly wise and caring heavenly Father holds us-along with all creation-in His strong and loving hands.

Into Our Storms🌩
Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase. -Martin Luther King, Jr.
JESUS invites us to trust Him in our storms. Sometimes He miraculously stills the winds and the waves. Sometimes He does something equally miraculous: He steadies our hearts and helps us to trust Him. He asks us to rest in the belief that He has the power to say to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!"

😇 LORD, the storms of our lives sometimes seem like they will swamp us. Help us trust that You are the Master of the storm, to place our faith in You when life's winds blow fiercely.

VERSE OF THE WEEK | 1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”
Paul wouldn’t have told Timothy to not let anyone despise his youth if someone hadn’t already been doing it. Perhaps there were some of the elders in the church who had a difficult time swallowing their pride and being taught by Timothy but since Timothy was taught by Paul, it was the same as Paul’s teachings. He was expecting Timothy to walk in love, faith, and purity, so that the believers would have nothing wrong to say about Timothy, regardless of his age.
