𝑩𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔

103 children from various barangays of Pambujan received the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist for the first time during the First Holy Communion celebration held at Saint John the Baptist Parish Church on June 2 at 10:00 a.m. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Tobias Irinco and marked a significant milestone in the spiritual journey of the young communicants.

The celebration brought together parents, guardians, and catechists who accompanied the children as they received the Body of Christ for the first time. The event highlighted the culmination of their catechetical preparation and served as a joyful occasion for families and the parish community as they witnessed this important step in the children's faith formation.

𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒅𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒐 2026

The faithful community of Pambujan joyfully celebrated the Flores de Mayo Santacruzan in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary at St. John the Baptist Parish. The solemn Holy Mass was presided by the Most Rev. Nolly C. Buco, DD. as Main Celebrant, together with concelebrants Fr. Joemel Porteza, Fr. Tobias Irinco, and Fr. Ruel Deterala.

The celebration was led by Hermana Mayor 2026, Kristela Gail Balanquit, together with her family, sponsors, catechumens, catechists, and the entire community of Pambuajan — all united in prayer and devotion to our Blessed Mother.

Following the Holy Mass, a grand procession wound through the streets of the town, graced by this year's beautifully adorned Santacruzan queens — a beloved tradition that honors the Blessed Virgin Mary and fills the community with faith, beauty, and devotion.

With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we celebrate the culmination of this year's month-long Catechism held in conjunction with the Flores de Mayo celebration. This special day marks the completion of a meaningful spiritual journey for our Catechumens, who faithfully dedicated their time to learning about God, deepening their faith, and growing in Christian values.

The celebration was filled with fun games, presentations, and shared laughter, serving as a well-deserved reward for the young hearts who actively participated in the catechetical sessions throughout the month. May the knowledge, values, and faith they have gained continue to guide them in their daily lives, drawing them closer to God and the Blessed Virgin Mary, and encouraging them to become faithful disciples of Christ.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our Catechists for your unwavering dedication, patience, love, and guidance. Your tireless service has played a vital role in nurturing the faith of our Catechumens and making this journey meaningful for each of them.
