Happy Pentecost Sunday

Today, the Church celebrates the glorious feast of Pentecost—the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles like tongues of fire and filled them with courage, wisdom, and zeal. Pentecost is often called the “Birthday of the Church” because it marks the moment when the Apostles boldly went forth to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to the world.

Before Pentecost, the disciples were afraid, hiding behind locked doors after the death and resurrection of Jesus. But when the Holy Spirit came upon them, everything changed. Fear became courage. Doubt became faith. Silence became proclamation. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, ordinary men became fearless witnesses of Christ.

That same Holy Spirit continues to move in our lives today. He strengthens us when we are weak, comforts us in sorrow, guides us in confusion, and renews our hearts when we grow weary in faith. Pentecost reminds us that we are never alone because God Himself dwells within us.

As we wear red on this sacred feast, we remember the fire of the Holy Spirit—the fire of divine love that purifies, transforms, and sends us on mission. The world today needs people filled not with hatred, pride, and division, but with the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

May this Pentecost renew our hearts and awaken our souls once again. Let us open ourselves to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to lead us closer to Christ. May He set our hearts on fire with holiness and give us the courage to live our Catholic faith boldly and faithfully.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Your love. 🔥

We are celebrating National Youth Day today to acknowledge the vital role of young people within both the Church and the wider society. This observance serves as an important chance to encourage youth to deepen their faith, accept new responsibilities, and commit themselves to creating a community that is more just, compassionate, and focused on Christ.

As we celebrate our day today, may our hearts be ablaze in serving the Lord and continue to respond to his call.

Batan-on ni San Juan Bautista Leads March of the Saints to Uphold the True Meaning of All Saints’ Day

The Batan-on ni San Juan Bautista successfully led the March of the Saints at St. John the Baptist Parish, a faith-filled activity reminding the community that November 1 is a day to honor the saints of the Church, not a celebration of horror or evil creatures. Dressed in saintly costumes, children and youth joyfully paraded through the streets, each representing a saint whose life inspired faith, sacrifice, and holiness. The event aimed to deepen the community’s understanding of All Saints’ Day and to guide the young faithful in living lives of goodness and virtue.
The Batan-on ni San Juan Bautista encouraged everyone to follow the path of the saints—choosing light over darkness, faith over fear, and holiness over worldly ways.

LOOK | ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH HOLDS LIVING ROSARY

October 31, 2025 — St. John the Baptist Parish Church in Pambujan, Northern Samar, held the closing celebration of the Month of the Holy Rosary, led by the Parish Youth Council.

Throughout October, the parish honored the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. To end the month, the parish youth group Batan-on ni San Juan Bautista organized a Living Rosary event.

The day began with a motorcade and the enthronement of the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Participants included Catechists, Altar Servers, Parish Choirs, YFC, and Catechumens, each representing a bead in the rosary. Their unity showed faith, devotion, and love for the Blessed Mother.

Batan-on ni San Juan Bautista Holds Evaluation Day Following the Diocesan Youth Day 2025

The Batan-on ni San Juan Bautista youth ministry conducted its Evaluation Day at Clearwater Beach Resort to assess and reflect on their hosting in the recently concluded Diocesan Youth Day 2025. The activity served as an opportunity for members to express their insights, recognize their efforts, and discuss areas for growth in future engagements. Through reflection, and shared commitment, the group reaffirmed its dedication to fostering active youth involvement in the Church and living out the example of St. John the Baptist in faith and service.

LIVING ROSARY 2025

Join us as we culminate the Month of the Holy Rosary with a beautiful celebration of faith and devotion through the Living Rosary on October 31, 2025, at the St. John the Baptist Parish, Pambujan, Northern Samar.

The evening will begin with a Motorcade Procession at 4:00 PM, followed by the Enthronement of the Image of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Angelus, Living Rosary, and Final Blessing.

Together, let us honor our Blessed Mother and offer our prayers for peace, grace, and guidance. 💙✨
