After the meaningful and inspiring Track Sessions, the St. Michael the Archangel Parish Youth Ministry prepared a fun and exciting Laro ng Lahi for all the delegates. It was a chance for everyone to relax, enjoy, and bond with one another after a day filled with learning and reflection.

The delegates were divided into groups and participated in different games such as Dampa, Pass the Flour, Pass the Coin, and Listen to Your Animal Sound. Each game brought out the participants’ teamwork, cooperation, and creativity while keeping the atmosphere lively and enjoyable.

The activities were held at the grounds of Alfredo Parilla National High School and along the street near the campsite. The area was filled with laughter, cheers, excitement, and friendly competition as the delegates gave their best and supported one another throughout the games.

More than just having fun, Laro ng Lahi became an opportunity for the youth to meet new friends, strengthen their bonds, and create memories that they will surely cherish long after the camp ends. 💛

After the inspiring Plenary Session 1, the delegates officially began their journey through the different Pathways of Purpose Track Sessions at San Miguel Elementary School. The Track Session consisted of four different topics: Life and Dignity of the Human Person, Dignity of Work and Rights of Workers, Solidarity, and Rights and Responsibilities, where the delegates were divided into different groups to participate in each session. The selected speakers were youth delegates who attended the Archdiocesan Summer Youth Camp (ASYC) 2026 in Tanauan, Leyte, who willingly shared their knowledge, experiences, and learnings with the participants. Through these meaningful discussions and activities, the delegates were encouraged to become more aware of their roles and responsibilities as youth, while strengthening their faith, values, and sense of purpose in serving God and the community. 💛

After the Holy Mass, Plenary Session 1 officially began. Our first speaker, Ms. Aiyanna Patrice Laurente, shared an inspiring talk with the topic, “SARIG: Finding Courage in Christ’s Presence.” Through her heartfelt message and personal life experiences, including the lowest moments of her life where God became her source of strength and hope, she reminded all the delegates that true courage is not about being fearless, but about continuing to trust God even during difficult times.

One of the quotes she shared that deeply touched the hearts of the delegates was, “God never calls the qualified; He qualifies the person He called.” This powerful reminder encouraged the youth to trust God’s plan and believe that despite their weaknesses and imperfections, God can still use them for a greater purpose.

The fourth Friday of May marked the first official day of the Parish Summer Youth Camp 2026 as the celebration began with a Holy Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, presided over by Rev. Fr. Ramon A. Fian, Jr. During his homily, he reminded all the delegates with the meaningful quote, “Kung si Cristo ang kaptan, hawak mo ang beat.” This quote truly stuck in the minds and hearts of the delegates as it reminded the youth that when we hold on to Christ, our lives become guided with purpose, direction, and strength. No matter how difficult life may become or how low we may feel, we should never forget to hold on to God, for He is always there to guide and strengthen us through every challenge we face.

The Holy Mass became a meaningful start to the camp as it strengthened the faith of the youth and prepared their hearts for the days ahead filled with learning, friendship, worship, and unforgettable experiences. Truly, the first day of PSYC 2026 was not only the beginning of activities, but also a reminder that with Christ at the center of our lives, we can face every journey with courage and hope. 💛

The tents are pitched, the friendships are forming, and the excitement is building! Day 0 marked the official start of the camp at San Miguel Elementary School, which serves as the campsite where all participants gathered, settled in, and began their journey together in faith and fellowship.

The day was filled with laughter and energy through the “Get to Know Me” game, where each barangay delegation introduced themselves and connected with others by sharing simple details such as their favorite colors, hobbies, ages, and interests. It was a meaningful way to break the ice and start building friendships across different groups. ✨

As we begin this journey together, may these days be filled with faith, courage, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

Welcome to the 4th Parish Summer Youth Camp 2026 — the adventure starts now! 💛
