"DIVINE IRONY"

We discover a God who consistently subverts human expectations to display His unmatched sovereignty. Consider the battlefield where a young, unarmed shepherd boy named David faced the towering giant Goliath, bringing down a mighty warrior with a simple stone to secure a victory only God could claim. Think, too, of the dramatic reversal in the courts of Persia, where the wicked Haman was humiliated while the righteous Mordecai was elevated, and ultimately, look to the cross of Jesus Christ, where a seemingly catastrophic defeat became the ultimate triumph over sin and death. In every instance, earthly standards of power and status are completely upended, demonstrating that God frequently chooses the exact things the world overlooks to fulfill His eternal purposes.

​This pattern of upside-down kingdom logic is captured beautifully in 1 Corinthians 1:27, which tells us, “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” When we look at our own limitations, inadequacies, and moments of weakness, we are reminded that we are prime candidates for His miraculous power to break through.

"God bypasses human strength and status to accomplish His greatest works, proving human power is nothing compared to divine grace."

August 6, 2026 Youth Bible Study

Life is all about love. For we are bankrupt without love.

"The measurement of life is loving God, loving people."

Every commandment is summed up in Galatians 5:14
“For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: ‘Love others as you love yourself.’”

It is easy to love the lovable—to love those who love us, understand us, and treat us well. But Jesus calls us to love even the difficult, the broken, and the sinner.

The good news is that we don’t have to do it in our own strength. Jesus loved us while we were still sinners. Through His love in us, we can love others—even when it’s hard.

The best use of life is love.
The best expression of love is time.
The best time to love is now.
Love like Jesus. Even when it’s difficult, His love makes it possible.

And we love to be with you next Thursday, 7pm for our bible study. God Bless💙

Isaiah 55:6 "Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near."

This verse reminded us that God is gracious inviting us everyday to come before Him. His invitation doesn't need something but the willingness of the heart. His grace urgently calls us every minute while His grace can still be found. This encouraged us last night to be a seeker of His presence, willingness to repent and longing for hope and restoration. God intentionally created the human to have an intimate relationship with Him. But sin makes every heart to be filled with pride and anger that hinders humans to not call upon Him. Thanks be to God by His grace, He has given Jesus that made a way to restore what sin broke. All by His grace, our relationship with Him is now restored.

"Grace is already given, seeking His face is a faithful proof of living"
