In unity with the nation, the Archdiocesan Shrine of Sto. Niño solemnly celebrated the Holy Mass for the 40th Anniversary of the historic People Power Revolution.

As we commemorate this milestone in our nation’s history, we gather in prayer and thanksgiving for the gift of freedom, courage, and peaceful unity that shaped our democracy. May the spirit of EDSA continue to inspire us to stand for truth, justice, and love of country—guided always by faith in the Señor Sto. Niño.

The St. Joachim Parish, in solidarity with the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines, solemnly commemorates the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution through prayer and reflection.

As a community of faith, we uphold truth, justice, and the common good. Together we affirm: No to corruption. No to political dynasties. Protect the environment.

IN PHOTOS | 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution (Walk for Life)

Earlier today, representatives from the Commission on Youth, the Legion of Mary, the Lay Ministers, and the Faculty and Staff of St. Michael Development Center Tolosa Inc., solemnly participated in the commemorative Walk for Life in observance of the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.

Following the procession from Cogon, the faithful gathered at the Palo Metropolitan Cathedral for the Eucharistic Celebration presided by Archbishop John F. Du, D.D together with the clergy of the Vicariate of Palo. The celebration was likewise joined by delegates from the various parishes and schools within the Vicariate.

In the spirit of EDSA, we reaffirm our collective commitment to the values that safeguard our nation: Honesty, Accountability, and Good Governance.
No to Political Dynasty. No to Corruption. Protect Our Environment.

Rev. Fr. Francis Anthony A. Borja, together with the St. Vincent Ferrer parish community, joined this afternoon's peaceful march to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution. The parish echoes the resounding call: No to corruption! No to political dynasties! We stand for accountability and good governance.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝟰𝟬𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Today, as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, we lift our hearts in prayer and thanksgiving to God for the gift of freedom and unity that our nation received through peaceful courage and faith. The different ministries of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Libertad Palo, Leyte together our parish priest Rev. Fr. Filomeno "Elmo" O. Borgueta, join the nation in remembering the legacy of EDSA, a reminder that the power of truth, prayer, and solidarity can overcome darkness and injustice.

Together with the different parishes of the Vicariate of Palo, we stand for Honesty, Accountability, and Good Governance—values that reflect our Christian calling to serve with integrity and love. May the Lord continue to guide our leaders and people, that we may always choose what is right, work for the common good, and become instruments of peace, justice, and unity in our beloved country.

As one Vicariate, we walked together in faith.

Parishioners from the Palo Vicariate joined the seminarians in a prayerful procession to the Palo Metropolitan Cathedral, offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for our nation on the 40th EDSA People Power Anniversary.

May we continue to be instruments of peace in our homes, communities, and country.
