What we have will never be enough to satisfy the hunger of the world. It's not even enough to satisfy the hunger of our members. But Jesus is not expecting us to supply enough for everyone's hunger. That is His job, not ours. We are called to simply give. Just give. "Magbigay ka lang." Jesus said, "There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves." (Matthew 14:16) There is no need to detach ourselves from serving others just because we have less. There is no need to be overwhelmed. What you have is what the world needs. May it be our time, talent, or treasure. It might not be enough, but if we just give, Jesus can multiply them a hundredfold.

So, dear SFCs, just give. Make sure when you give, you're giving wholeheartedly. And giving is not a one-time thing. Give consistently.

It was a fun and joyous morning last Sunday as we once again held our annual ANCOP Global Walk 2022 for the Palo and Tanauan Chapters.

Indeed, there's no greater fulfilment than being able to live a life of love, service and generosity to our brothers and sisters.

May we all continue to become bearers of hope as we all march and walk for all our ANCOP Scholars.

Together, let's forge a future where no one is left behind and where everyone is given an equal opportunity to quality education.

"Bataan has fallen." - one of the most iconic moments in our Philippine History.

Bataan now holds many historical landmarks including monuments, heritage houses, shrines and old churches. Bataan has so much to offer when it comes to culture, beauty and history!

Just like Bataan, we may have fallen and felt a big loss in the past two years, but together we will rise again and face the battle headstrong!

We are excited to be with you this February 10-12, 2023! TARA NA SA BATAAN!

ABOUT THE WEEKEND
The Covenant Orientation Weekend is the first weekend retreat that SFCs will undergo after
graduating from the Christian Life Program. It is to be conducted at least 3 months after the
participants finish the CLP.

This weekend has the following goals:
1. Familiarize SFCs with their covenant as Singles for Christ.
2. Lead SFCs to desire a deeper relationship with God through a committed prayer life.
3. Inspire participants to live out their calling as SFCs in their family, workplace, and in community despite challenges and difficulties.
4. Introduce participants to the culture of Singles for Christ.
5. Empower SFCs to begin to live out the SFC vision and mission.

We have one Father who gives us our daily bread and forgives our sins.

Despite witnessing many miracles and hearing many teachings of Jesus, some disciples still did not know how to pray. We are also often caught in this circumstance, that no matter how long we have been believers, there are times when we are unable to pray or don't know what to say.

In times like this, let us ask the Holy Spirit to teach us how to pray and what to pray for. Let us also have the courage to believe and to pray The Lord's prayer which Jesus has bestowed upon us.

“We need courage to pray the Our Father,” writes Pope Francis, “to truly believe that God is the Father who accompanies us, forgives us, gives us bread, is attentive to all that we ask, clothes us even better than the flowers of the field.

SFC TACLOBAN AND PALO!!!

🔺️We are feelin' the excitement here❗ Our SFC Teaching will be happening in 5days. OCTOBER 2, SUNDAY 1pm at Liceo del Verbo Tacloban Chapel. Pls don't forget our CFC Anniversary on Saturday in Ormoc City (7:30 to 12nn)

It's been so long that we haven't gathered as one North. Let's get to know each other, mag kumustahan with our bros and sisters and experience a glimpse of ReCon. 😍

Each activity we have joined in the past has blessed us in so many ways. This time, God is inviting us again to experience His AUTHENTIC love and outpouring blessings. Let's be there, as one Singles for Christ Leyte North Sector. Every 1st Sunday afternoon will be our regular SFC Teaching.

Let's gather. Worship. Learn. Have fellowship. Attend mass and join the SFC choir at 5:30PM.

Often times we fall into the trap of our daily routines. We are too comfortable in our own skin we don't challenge our status quo. However, deep inside we are dying and longing for more in life, in love, and in everything the world has to offer.

How long will it take for you to finally get up and keep moving? How long will you continue to count the days, the months, the years of feeling stuck just because we are too afraid to fail? How long do you want to feel miserable?

Look within. Find that courage in Christ. He wants you to Discover YOU. Live your purpose.

St. Sabina - Martyr of the Early Church

St. Sabina's feast day is August 29th. We know St. Sabina only through legend, and there is some question as to its trustworthiness. Even the century in which she lived is unknown. Supposedly Sabina was converted to Christianity by her Syrian servant Serapia. During the persecution of Emperor Hadrian, Serapia suffered martyrdom for her Christian Faith. It is believed that St. Sabina was murdered for the Faith about a month later. The renowned basilica on the Aventine in Rome is dedicated to and named after her. Some sources hold that Sabina herself had it constructed in the third or fourth century. In an age when our Faith is ridiculed as being outmoded, we take heart in the lives of so many martyrs, like St. Sabina, who gave their lives under terrible conditions to defend and sustain their Faith. This confers on us a strong desire to persevere in God's love.
