“REST IS NOT A WASTE OF TIME; IT IS A NECESSITY”

This Sunday, we were reminded that rest is not laziness, it is part of God’s design.

Rest helps us recover when we are tired, refocus when life feels overwhelming, and reminds us that we don’t have to carry everything on our own. Sometimes, resting is an evidence of faith, choosing to trust God even when we feel like we need to keep doing more.

And ultimately, true rest is found in Jesus. When our hearts are weary and our burdens feel too heavy, He invites us to come to Him and find rest.

So this week, may we learn to pause, breathe, surrender, and trust.

You don’t always have to keep going. Sometimes, you simply need to rest in God.

“Guard Your Heart, Renew Your Mind”

In a world filled with distractions and wrong influences, God calls us to remain rooted in Him.

1. Guard your heart — Protect what shapes your life.
2. Govern your mind — Fill your thoughts with God’s truth.
3. Grow in Christ — Stay connected to the One who gives life.
4. Go and shine — Be a light that points others to Jesus.

When our hearts are guarded, our minds are renewed, and our lives are anchored in Christ, we don’t have to blend into the darkness, we become His light.

“Don’t blend into the darkness. Shine with the light of Christ.”

“PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE KING”
Living Under the Lordship of the King of Glory
Psalm 24:1

The King of Glory doesn’t simply seek a place to visit. He desires hearts that are fully surrendered to His lordship.

Preparing the way for the King means laying down our pride, trusting His authority, and allowing Him to reign over every area of our lives. When we recognize that everything belongs to the Lord, we stop living for ourselves and begin living for His purpose.

May we not only welcome His presence on Sundays but also honor His lordship every day. Let our hearts remain open, our lives obedient, and our faith steadfast as we prepare the way for the King.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” Psalm 24:1

YOUTH CAMP 2026 WATER BAPTISM ✨

With grateful hearts, we celebrate these young people who have chosen to publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ through water baptism.

As they were immersed in the water, they symbolized leaving behind their old life. As they rose again, they testified of the new life found in Christ, a life marked by faith, obedience, and a renewed relationship with God.

May this be the beginning of a lifelong journey of walking closely with the Lord and shining His light to others.

“We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4

Hearts surrendered. Lives transformed. A new life in Christ begins.

“POWER RELATIONSHIPS “

No matter what season we are in — storms, waiting, victories, or changes — our relationship with God must remain our strongest foundation.

This Sunday, we were reminded that every season is an invitation to engage God deeper and strengthen the relationships He has placed around us. As we stay connected to Him, we also grow stronger as one church family — encouraging, praying, serving, and walking together in faith.

A powerful relationship with God produces a healthy relationship with the church. Together, we grow. Together, we worship. Together, we pursue His purpose.

“The season of your life may change, but your relationship with God should remain.”

“A MOTHER’S HEART”

A mother’s heart reflects the love of God. 🤍
‘As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.’
— Isaiah 66:13

A mother nurtures with warmth, teaches with wisdom, serves with sacrificial strength, and loves through every season. Truly, one of God’s greatest blessings is a mother’s love.

Happy Mother’s Day to all amazing moms!💜🌷

SUNDAY SERVICE - MAY 3, 2026
“Church is more than attendance, it’s a calling.”

We serve not because we have to, but because God calls us to obey, grow, and be part of His purpose. Together, we are one body, strengthened in faith and in fellowship (Acts 2:42).

Encourage one another and build each other up
(1 Thessalonians 5:11).

God is using you, right where you are.

Be present. Be involved. Be a vessel.

“D O N O T B E A F R A I D”

John 14:27
“I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

Today’s Sunday Service was a powerful reminder of God’s presence and His unfailing Word.

John 14:27 speaks of a peace that only Christ can give—a peace that is not dependent on circumstances, but anchored in His promises. This divine peace brings comfort, strength, and assurance in every season.

May this truth continue to guide hearts and minds, remaining steadfast—untroubled and unafraid.
