A new chapter begins not because I am strong, but because I know who gives me strength. I am humbled and grateful to be called to serve in the Philippines Quezon City Mission.

I go with faith, a willing heart, and a desire to love and bless the people I will meet. I may not know everything that lies ahead, but I know the Lord goes before me.

“Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God.” — Alma 26:12

The Love That Changes Everything

This week, I’ve been reflecting on one thing: the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

In General Conference, President Russell M. Nelson reminded us that “The love of God is the most powerful force in the universe.” That love is perfectly shown through Jesus Christ. Because of Him, we can find strength, hope, peace, and the assurance that we are never alone.

His love also teaches us how to love others—even when we are different. Contention is a choice. Pride is a choice. But choosing to forgive, understand, serve, and become a peacemaker is also a choice.

The Savior taught:

“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
— John 13:35

May we choose love over pride, peace over contention, and kindness over judgment. And may we always remember that His love has the power to change hearts, heal relationships, and change everything.

Palangga ko kamo tanan, brothers and sisters! 🫶

Let’s choose to remember His love not just today, but every day. ❤️
