Together, we stand firm in upholding the dignity of life—from conception to natural death—bearing witness to our commitment to defend, protect, and cherish God’s greatest gift.

32 Years of Faithful Service: Strong Families, Strong Council ⚔️

Members, families, and guests of Knights of Columbus 11290 gathered in unity to celebrate the Council’s 32nd Founding Anniversary and Family Day held at Villaroza’s Farm House & Resort, Sitio Pook, Brgy. Lusacan, Tiaong, Quezon on February 21, 2026.

The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Gerardo M. Juarez, Parish Priest of BVM, Queen of the World Parish and Chaplain of the Council, setting a solemn and prayerful tone to start the anniversary celebration.

Following the Eucharistic Celebration, a program and fellowship brought together brother Knights and their families in an atmosphere of gratitude and camaraderie. During the program, active members of the Council received fraternal citations and commemorative tokens in recognition of their dedicated service. The Council’s charter members were likewise acknowledged and honored with the same, affirming their lasting contributions to the growth and legacy of Council 11290.

In his message, Grand Knight Francisco “Frank” M. Abenina, called on the brethren to remain firm in their commitment to the Order and encouraged continuous active participation in upholding Council’s charitable works and fraternal mission.

The event was graced by L-57 District Deputy Allan D. Panopio, highlighting the importance of solidarity and continued service of the Order.

The event was organized through the efforts of the Council’s Deputy Grand Knight & Program Director, SK Robert L. Mitra, with the support of SK Lenard L. Masakayan, Council Secretary and by SK Erwin C. Villaverde, Family Director.

“And since, she has been appointed by God, to be the Queen of heaven and earth and is exalted above all the choirs of angels and saints and, even stands at the right hand of her Only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, Our Lord, she presents our petitions in a most efficacious manner. What she asks, she obtains. Her pleas can never be unheard!” Blessed Pius IX, Ineffabilis Deus (1854)🌹

These words remind us of the unique and tender role of Mary in the life of every believer. She is not merely a distant figure of holiness but a mother exalted by God, entrusted with a mission that continues even in heaven. As Queen of Heaven and Earth, she does not reign with power as the world understands it; instead, she reigns with compassion, attentiveness, and a mother’s heart that listens to the cries of her children.🌹

Standing at the right hand of Jesus, she intercedes with a confidence born not of authority alone but of perfect union with the will of God. Her intercession is powerful because her desires, requests, and petitions are always aligned with God’s plan for our good. What she asks, she asks with love; what she obtains, she obtains for our salvation.🌹

This reminds us that we are never alone in our struggles. When our own prayers feel weak or uncertain, we can entrust them to her, knowing that she presents them to Christ with a mother’s urgency. Her care is constant, her advocacy unfailing, and her presence a reminder that heaven is not indifferent to our needs.

May this move us to approach her with confidence, not out of superstition, but out of deep trust in the mother God has given to us—one whose pleas, born of pure love, can never be unheard.🌹

With joy and reverence, we celebrate the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. May her immaculate love guide our service to the Church and our community. 🌹

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. 🌹

“Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” (Luke 23:35-43)

Even from the cross, Jesus reigns as King, not through power, but through mercy. The repentant thief’s humble plea reminds us that it is never too late to turn to Christ, who welcomes every heart that calls on Him.

👑 Lord Jesus, King of mercy, remember us in Your kingdom. Help us to trust in Your forgiveness and to live as witnesses to Your love.
