Faith is more than saying, “I know Jesus.” It is a lifelong journey of discovering who He is in every season of our lives. In our joys, struggles, questions, and uncertainties, He continues to reveal Himself to us. And as we grow in knowing Jesus, we also grow in knowing who we are. Slowly, we become stronger, more grounded, and more steadfast—not because life becomes easier, but because we know in whom we place our faith. (Matthew 16:13–20)

“Young people demand change.” — Pope Francis, Laudato Si’

Day 2 began with “Lakad-Dasal Para sa Kalikasan,” as the youth walked together in prayer and solidarity, raising their voices for urgent action in response to the climate emergency.

Inspired by Laudato Si’, we are reminded that our common home is a gift entrusted to all of us, and that caring for creation is both a responsibility and a call to action.

With every step, we prayed.
With every voice, we called for change.
With every heart, we chose to care.

A Grateful Farewell and a New Mission

With hearts full of gratitude, the St. Anne Parish and Diocesan Shrine warmly thanks Rev. Sam and Rev. Joven for their dedicated service and joyful presence as our Assisting Deacons for the past three months.

Your ministry, prayers, kindness, and love for our parish have truly been a blessing and also a "surprise" to us. In these short but meaningful months, you have touched many lives and became a cherished part of our parish family.

As you continue your journey in preparation for the holy priesthood, may the Lord guide you, strengthen you, and deepen your love for His people. May your new mission be filled with grace, wisdom, and countless opportunities to grow in faith and holiness with help of our dear patroness, St. Anne.

Thank you for serving with us, Rev. Sam and Rev. Joven. We will surely miss you, but we are happy and grateful to witness the next chapter of your vocation.
