Sometimes we expect Church leaders to always say the right thing, make the right decision, never struggle, and never disappoint us. But the Lord never said His servants had to be perfect before He could use them💕
Look at the scriptures. Moses struggled. Peter made serious mistakes. Jonah ran from his assignment. Even the Apostles misunderstood Jesus and needed correction.
When Lehi murmured, Nephi didn’t tear him down—he sustained him and continued to have faith in him. When James and John wanted to call fire down on a Samaritan village, Jesus corrected them, but He didn’t cast them out of the Twelve. When Esther was afraid, Mordecai didn’t give up on her—he reminded her that perhaps she had been placed where she was for a purpose🩷
We can choose to do the same with our Church leaders. Whether they are General Authorities, bishops, branch presidents, Relief Society presidents, elders quorum presidents, or any other local leader, remember that many are simply doing their best in callings to serve His children.
Sustain more. Criticize less. Pray for them. Give grace. Look for their strengths instead of constantly searching for their weaknesses🥹🤍
The miracle isn't that God finds perfect people.
The miracle is that God can work through imperfect people.✨
And remember—one day, you may need the same patience and understanding you are being asked to give someone else today. ❤️
