SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP | April 12, 2026✨
Today’s message was a powerful reminder that while the "last days" bring difficult attitudes, we are called to live differently.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 describes a world where people love themselves, money, and pleasure more than God. It warns us about a "form of godliness" that lacks real power where people act religious but don't let God change their hearts.
To avoid being swept up in the chaos mentioned above, we have to change our "operating system."
Romans 12:2 tells us exactly how to resist the world’s influence:
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
When we change how we think, we start to see God’s perfect will instead of the world’s distractions.
When we stop following the world and start letting God renew our minds, the evidence shows up in our character. We don't have to force it; the Holy Spirit produces it in us!
Galatians 5:22-23
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
The world may be getting colder and more self-centered (2 Timothy), but we can stay on track by refreshing our minds through the Word (Romans) so that we can shine with the beautiful fruit of the Spirit (Galatians). 🙌
