RIVANS Fraternity sincerely extends its deepest gratitude for the successful food-giving activity held after the Concelebrated Dawn Mass at the boulevard, made possible through the generous collaboration with the PINUSIANS Society.

This meaningful initiative reflected the true essence of service, compassion, and unity as we came together to share blessings and bring warmth to the community, especially as we celebrate the Feast of Señor Santo Niño.

We are truly thankful to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and resources to make this act of kindness possible. May this shared spirit of generosity continue to inspire us to serve with purpose and solidarity.

“SOLIDO RIVANO” is more than a phrase — it is a declaration of strength, oneness, and brotherhood that defines every member of the Rivulet Sigma Omega Beta Society.
The word “Solido” stands for solidarity, integrity, and loyalty — the unbreakable bond that ties every Rivan together, regardless of distance, generation, or chapter. It reminds members that being a Rivan means standing firm in principles, defending what is right, and supporting one another through challenges.
Meanwhile, “Rivano” represents identity and pride. It signifies a life lived with compassion, service, and leadership — the very foundations of the fraternity and sorority. To be called a Rivano is to uphold the society’s motto: “Huwag mang-api at huwag magpa-api” — never oppress and never allow oneself to be oppressed.
Together, SOLIDO RIVANO is a rallying cry — a symbol of the enduring spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood that began in 1978 and continues to inspire generations. It reminds every member that once a Rivan, always a Rivan — united, resilient, and forever true to the cause.

🕊 In Loving Memory of Kap Ivan Palma 🕊

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our beloved brother, Kap Ivan Palma of Mu Delta Chapter, who has recently passed away. His departure has left a void in our fraternity and sorority, and the entire Rivans Community mourns his loss deeply.

Kap Ivan Palma was more than just a brother; he was a friend, a mentor, and a true embodiment of SOLIDO RIVANO spirit. His dedication, passion, and commitment to our fraternity and sorority will always be remembered and cherished.

As we grieve the loss of Kap Ivan Palma, let us also celebrate the impact he had on each of our lives. His legacy will continue to inspire us to uphold the values of Sigma Omega Beta and to support one another through both joy and sorrow.

His wake is at Palma residence, Unidos, Plaridel, Misamis Occidental, left side when going to the town of Plaridel.
Interment will be on:
Mass will be offered @ 1pm (Catholic church)
Date: April 17, 2024
Final resting place: Simbajon lot cemetery (Pasulod sa Langub)

Our thoughts and prayers are with Kap Ivan Palma's family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
