Dear friends, I urge you to live intensely the second commitment of our Movement, namely, unity with the Pope and the Church united to him . This unity is manifested in prayer for the Pope and his ministry, as well as in obedience to the Church . And it is on this last point that I come to emphasize today. I will give a significant example: when the Church issues a negative judgment on an alleged apparition or on messages presented as coming from Heaven, we must obey; otherwise, we place ourselves above the Church and judge the Church. It is precisely to the Church that the discernment of spiritual phenomena belongs. St. John says this in his first letter: “ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world ” ( 1 John 4 :1). Conversely, whatever the "private revelation," even those approved by the Church as trustworthy, no one is obliged to believe them, despite the care the Church takes to discern them (sometimes years of investigation). This means that we must not appoint ourselves judges in these matters and that we must accept the Church's judgment.

I say this because I hear that a number of members of the Marian Movement of Priests (MSM) are going to apparition sites forbidden by the Church , or disseminating messages that the Church has asked not to be disseminated, having passed a negative judgment on them. And some, moreover, do so while publicizing their membership in the Marian Movement of Priests, so that the authorities might be led to believe that the MSM endorses these actions. This is not the case. You know that Father Gobbi was very clear on this point: he often told us that every year there are thousands of messages presented as coming from Heaven and that probably most of them are false. Our mission is not to discern them . That is why he asked us to be content with the messages in the Blue Book that have received the imprimatur from bishops and cardinals all over the world. The imprimatur is given when it has been determined that there is nothing in these messages that is contrary to the faith or the Magisterium. Even messages that have received the imprimatur are not binding on anyone. Everyone is free to believe them or not. The imprimatur merely underscores that there is nothing there that is contrary to the faith.

Similarly, Don Gobbi asked us, during the Cenacles, not to introduce any devotions or messages other than those in the Blue Book. We must be careful to adhere to these firm instructions from Don Gobbi and not advertise any work whatsoever during or in connection with the Cenacles.

You may know that some present the messages given to Don Gobbi as personal meditations. He always denied these claims, asserting—even in his Spiritual Testament—that the messages were received by him in the form of interior locutions , a phenomenon well known in mysticism and described in theological works. For example, Saint Teresa of Avila recorded a number of these interior words received from the Lord or the Blessed Virgin in her writings. Don Gobbi had given us explanations of the very simple way in which these locutions came to him, and all of this was submitted to the Church for discernment.

Sometimes, in an attempt to discredit them, the messages are presented as catastrophic. I have had the opportunity to address this on several occasions, and here is a summary: 1. Who are we to say what the Blessed Virgin Mary has the right to say to her children on earth and to forbid her from saying that the times we are living through are grave? When Jesus was asked to silence his disciples upon entering Jerusalem, he replied, " If they keep silent, the stones will cry out " ( Luke 19:40 ). An Irish priest told me that during the apparitions of Our Lady of Laus, the bishop asked the Virgin, who—in his opinion—was talking too much, to be silent; Mary's response to Benoîte Rencurel? " Tell the minister of my Son that he has no orders to give to his Mother ." 2. Mary opens the sealed Book (the Book of Revelation) to help us understand what is happening today and invites us to look at the events we are experiencing with faith. This is, in fact, a requirement of Revelation itself: “ This calls for wisdom. Let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast ” ( Revelation 13:18 ). Revelation itself asks us, through the grace of the Holy Spirit, to give a literal interpretation of the text. Without this insight, how could we understand what is happening today, which often defies comprehension? Mary interprets Revelation for us. 3. If she sheds light on these times we are living in, it is so that we may live with confidence in these foretold (and unfolding) events, just as Jesus, in the Gospel, warns his disciples of what they must do when the signs appear: “ Stand up, lift up your heads, for your redemption is drawing near ” ( Lk 21:28 ). Mary gives us the mission of the struggle of prayer and fidelity to the witness of Jesus. 4. The experience of the Cenacles is precisely the opposite of these accusations: in Cenacles, gathered in prayer, in communion with the whole Church, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we experience joy and peace, renewed trust in Jesus and Mary, and we understand that we have a role to play in our time: to obtain, according to Mary’s promises at Fatima, the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the triumph of her Son.

I therefore strongly urge you to remain faithful to what Mary expects of you , to be a support for the Church, as most of you have well understood, to pray with great love for the Holy Father and the whole Church and to multiply your Cenacles for the events we are experiencing, for the salvation of the greatest number.

Important communiqué (Comunicado importante) from Fr. Luca Pescatori
August 15, 2025
Dear Brothers and Sisters in the MMP,

Through this communiqué, I would like to bring to your attention a serious matter.

As taught by Our Lady and outlined by Fr. Stefano Gobbi in the introduction to the blue book, the characteristic commitments of the Marian Movement of Priests are as follows:

1- Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
2- Unity with the Pope and the Church united to him
3- Leading the faithful to entrustment to Our Lady

There are priests today who claim to be members of the MMP and yet do not adhere to these three core commitments and are spreading interpretations of the messages that are not faithful to the spirit of the MMP which Fr. Gobbi had faithfully transmitted. Some of these priests have a high-profile presence on social media (YouTube, Facebook, etc.) with numerous followers. Some also conduct cenacles in their areas and may even travel at the invitation of others to facilitate cenacles and MMP retreats. What is most disturbing is that, in some cases, they quote passages from the Blue Book and lend their own interpretations to them, in an effort to mount a defense of their own personal and often erroneous points of view. They seek to bolster their own agendas, especially as concerns the second commitment – unity with the Holy Father. This is an improper use of Our Lady’s messages and not in accord with how a cenacle should be conducted. The opinions that they proffer are sowing seeds of doubt and division in the minds of their listeners and leading to much confusion. What is especially perilous is that some of these priests have an authoritative and convincing demeanor, speaking as though they have the answers and are the authority on such matters, thus leading many to blindly accept their teachings. Some of these priests even claim to have been given messages by mystics as an encouragement to continue down the same path.

Furthermore, we often see some of these priests actively involved in promoting other devotions and mystical phenomena, with the Marian Movement of Priests being reduced to just one among many. So why do these priests attach themselves to so many other things? Are they searching for something else that they believe the MMP does not offer? Clearly, they are misguided and have not understood Our Lady’s words. Her request to us is very clear:

“This is what I ask of you: that you let yourself instead be divested of all other preoccupations. This is not one of many movements, but it is my Movement, my son.” ( , February 10, 1974)

She guards her Movement jealously! She does not want the priests whom She has called and chosen to go in search of other things when they are called on a specific path that has been opened by Herself. Whoever wishes can follow it but must be faithful without hybridizing the message Our Lady left in the Blue Book; otherwise, they are free to go elsewhere: choose a path and follow it completely without mixing it with any other paths. For our part, what She teaches in the messages is so perfect, so complete, so all-encompassing that nothing else is necessary. So, why seek out other things, albeit perhaps authentic, which leave us divided and not entirely focused? Those priests whom Our Lady has chosen for her cohort are to be totally Hers; their primary focus should be Her Movement. That is why Fr. Gobbi stressed the need for all those working in and for the MMP to divest themselves of involvement with other mystics, messages, and devotions.

Sadly, these priests who are sowing confusion do not maintain unity with the internationally and nationally elected MMP coordinators, presumably since they would have to be in obedience to directives that would curtail their activities. Indeed, no one needs special permission to conduct a cenacle, as long as it is faithful to the format that has always been in use and precisely indicated on the international website. Still, Our Lady stresses the importance of maintaining unity with the national offices so that a structure is adhered to, which may hold the order and fidelity to the spirit of the MMP. Yes, Our Lady says “Let there be no leader among you,” but Fr. Gobbi was the instrument chosen by Her to guide the work of Her Marian Movement of Priests throughout the world. She wished all her priests to remain united with him because it is through him that priests would receive direction from Her, as evidenced in the following messages:

“What a long road these sons of mine must still travel, and you will give them your hand and have them walk toward me… For my Movement of Priests, I will manifest myself through you; you are the instrument chosen by me for this mission. This must be understood by everyone in order to avoid any confusion whatsoever with which my Adversary will attempt to obscure my work. Those who will accept it through you will receive the gift of my most pure light…” (79e, August 23, 1975)

“(…) I myself am leading forward my work of the Marian Movement of Priests, by means of all that I have told you through the book of my messages and the little son whom I have chosen as my instrument to spread it in every part of the world. May you all be more and more united to this son of mine; only in this way are you sure of walking in the light which I give you. (…) (295f, September 20, 1984)

“In these times Satan is ensnaring very much even this work of love of mine, seeking to sow division among you. Therefore, I am urging you all to be more docile and more humble, more obedient and more united with this little son of mine, whom I have chosen as the instrument for the spread of the Marian Movement of Priests in every part of the world. (381h, May 1, 1988)

Practically speaking, Fr. Gobbi was aware that difficulties could arise if there were no centers to maintain unity with him, Her chosen instrument. Guided by Our Lady, Fr. Gobbi appointed National Directors who would proceed to set up headquarters in each of the various countries to serve as centers of unity for the Movement and carefully preserve fidelity to the spirit of the MMP. From these centers, the books would be distributed and information shared, all the while keeping in close contact with the international office for instruction and direction. Sadly, these priests who are not in communion with the international or national coordinator are left devoid of direction and often misguide other people of goodwill.

Our Lady wants her priests to come together as a team formed by unity in the spirit of the MMP, rather than working as solo entities.

“You cannot come to me alone. If you come alone, I ask you: ‘And your brothers, where are they?’ You must come to my Heart all together, joined by the divine bond of your ever increasingly perfect and reciprocal love.” (311i, July 5, 1985)

Finally, one last and most important point is that Our Lady wants her priests to be obedient to their bishop or superior. O, how She loves the virtue of obedience, of which She so often speaks in her messages to Fr. Gobbi!

“I want to make of you sons who want to obey, who always know how to obey. Obedience and docility: this is the livery in which I wish to attire you. I will give my orders through the voice of him whom my Son has appointed to govern his Church: the Pope with the hierarchy united to him … These poor sons of mine who do not obey and who rebel are already victims of the most subtle and insidious kind of pride…How Satan is succeeding today in deceiving and seducing you! He makes you believe that you are guardians of tradition and defenders of faith, while he causes you to be the first to make shipwreck of your faith and leads you, all unaware, into error.” ( #108 lmn, qrs, August 22, 1976)

“The virtue which I love most in my priest-sons is that of obedience. Today, you must be an example to everyone, by obeying with joy your superiors, especially the Pope.” ( , November 20, 1982)

With so many now on social media at risk of blindly following and believing everything they hear, I felt the need to issue this warning to make you more cautious and aware. Keep in mind that not every priest who is conducting a Cenacle is speaking precisely according to the spirit of the Marian Movement of Priests, as taught by Our Lady in the messages She gave to Fr. Gobbi. Do not allow yourselves to be led astray. Please call the National Headquarters if you have questions about a certain priest, and our National Director can confirm for you whether or not he has remained in union with the Movement’s pure spirit.

Everything, our life and our commitment, is only for the Work of our Mother, in Her we are united on the sure path that leads us to God. We walk together, guided and protected in Her Immaculate Heart.

Don Luca Pescatori, General Coordinator and the Spiritual Council of the Marian Movement of Priests

The Purpose of the Cenacle
The Cenacle A Preparation for the Second Pentecost
My Immaculate Heart is glorified by you when you multiply everywhere cenacles of prayer made with me.
(427k, June 23, 1990)
Multiply in every part of the world, the cenacles of prayer which I have asked of you, like torches lit in the night, like sure points of reference, like shelters needed and sought for.
(417k, Jan. 1, 1990)

Why does Our Lady urge the formation of cenacles?
In her messages, Our Lady insistently calls upon priests, religious and faithful to gather together with her in fervent prayer and fraternal love, in authentic cenacles as when the first apostles gathered with her in the Upper Room in Jerusalem awaiting the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Why this insistence? What is most important in the world and in the Church today is the preparation for the Second Pentecost through the triumph of her Immaculate Heart. To draw down upon us this gift of the Holy Spirit, we must enter with her into the cenacle.

Our Lady invites us to enter into the cenacle of her Immaculate Heart by means of our consecration. In the cenacle of her Heart she will nourish, form, and help us to grow in perfect consecration to her. She calls us to form cenacles together with her and to multiply and spread them everywhere, so that the Divine Spirit of Love may pass through the golden door of her Immaculate Heart and thus prepare humanity for a new era of grace and holiness.
(cf. 226j, June 7, 1981)

“Just as in the Cenacle of Jerusalem the Apostles, reunited with me in prayer, prepared for the moment of the first Pentecost, so also, in the cenacle of my Immaculate Heart – and consequently in the cenacles where you are gathered in prayer – you apostles of these last times can, with your heavenly Mother, obtain a new effusion of the Holy Spirit.”
(284p, Jan. 28, 1984)

The Whole Church Must Enter In.
The whole Church must now enter into the cenacle of my Immaculate Heart: all the bishops, the priests, the religious and the faithful must enter. In the Cenacle of Jerusalem, upon the Apostles gathered in prayer with me, there descended the Holy Spirit, and there took place the miracle of the first Pentecost. Thus, only in the cenacle of my Immaculate Heart, when the whole Church will have entered in, will the great prodigy of the second Pentecost take place. It will be a divine fire of purification and of sanctification which will renew all the face of the earth.

My times have come. This is why the Pope, the first of my beloved sons, is today opening an extraordinary Marian Year in my honor. I am asking that the whole Church gather together in prayer with me, Mother of Intercession and of Reparation. I want that all who belong to my Movement increase in the personal commitment of their consecration, because in you my Immaculate Heart must be more and more glorified.

For this I am asking you to multiply everywhere your cenacles of prayer and of brotherly sharing and to lead the greatest number possible of my children to the consecration to my Immaculate Heart. (355bcd, June 7, 1987)

And then, by means of the cenacles, she will save the whole world!
Pray more and more.
Pray together with me, through the recitation of the holy rosary.
Pray and do penance that the times be shortened, and that the greatest possible number of my children may be eternally saved.
Pray that suffering may serve to convert all those who have strayed far from God.
Pray that you may never doubt the love of the Father, who always watches over you and provides for you, and makes use of suffering as a means of healing you from the sickness of corruption, of infidelity, of rebellion, of impurity, of atheism.
I now ask you for more prayer.
Multiply your cenacles of prayer.
Multiply your rosaries, recited well and in union with me. Offer me also your suffering and your penance.
I ask you for prayer and penance for the conversion of sinners, that even my most rebellious and most distant children may return to God, who awaits them with the merciful eagerness of a Father.
And then, together we will form a great net of love that will envelop and save the whole world. Thus my motherly and supreme intervention can be extended everywhere, for the salvation of all who have gone astray.” (192j-t, Jan. 22, 1980)
