Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost of the United States has been elected as the 267th Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. Taking the name Pope Leo XIV, he begins a new chapter of leadership and service for the People of God.

Let us rejoice and pray for our new Holy Father as he steps into this sacred mission with faith, wisdom, and courage.

The Couples for Christ of Zamboanga del Sur together with its Family Ministries gathered to remember a life well-lived and bid a heartfelt farewell to Bishop B**g Lunas- a person who touched our hearts in profound ways. You, your memories, and your shared wisdom will always be in our hearts.

Today, the Couples For Christ and its Family Ministries of Zamboanga del Sur mourn the loss of Most Rev. Ronald "B**g" Lunas, DD. A true inspiration and servant of God. His unwavering dedication to serve the people of the Diocese of Pagadian will be remembered and cherished for generations to come. Our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell to a truly remarkable soul.

Let us honor his memory by continuing his legacy of compassion and love. Rest in peace, dear Bishop. 🙏
